Attendance at house shows has been declining as well. Average attendance in Q4 2017 was 5,550 for example, but declined to 5,000 in Q4 2018.

There is a huge difference between WWE contracts and what Lucha Underground is doing.

WWE contracts may strongly favor the company, but they don't potentially force wrestlers who want to work to sit and wait for (potentially) years without any pay and without being able to work elsewhere.

Lucha Underground's contract are the "hold my beer" response to WWE as they don't appear to have *any* downside guarantee provisions.

I had the same thought when I read this:

"The main drawback that I see is that when you take out a 30 year loan with the intention of paying it back over 15 years, that rarely happens in reality. Most people go in with good intentions, but paying that set amount extra every month is a hard habit to maintain. It's just too tempting to use that money somewhere else."

I can see that, but this "you're forced to make the higher payment" could also push you closer to default if you have a significant life change.

I'd hate to end up in a situation where I switch jobs or something else happens where I could have continued to make the 30 year payments, but am suddenly having difficulty covering the 15 year ones.

That was an interesting article, but the headline seems completely unsupported and unsupportable.

While a fascinating innovation that likely saved lies, a couple hundred portable X-ray units are extremely unlikely to have "Save[d] a Million Soldiers."

If you read the actual contract, Section VI notes that IP-related stuff like characters, dialogue, etc. are owned exclusively by Impact *until* the agreement terminates and then the license becomes non-exclusive.

I assume this is what the Hardy's are relying on, though litigating it will likely be expensive.

Most of it seems to be the result of automated lecture captures systems (like this https://www.youtube.com/wat..., so the $2 million is probably closer. Plus you need to pay someone to manage that process.

50,000 minutes is way too low of an estimate...at $2/minute, Berkeley is likely looking at $4-8 million to comply with the order.

Related to this, after getting my Note 7 replacement, I and several others tried to sign up for Samsung's accidental damage plan which lists the Note 7 as an eligible device. Apparently they simply stopped selling it for the Note 7 after the initial round of fires. I doubt they will be offering it again for the device.

I'm returning my replacement Note 7. I bought two fast wireless charging pads, an Otterbox case, several tempered glass screen protectors, etc. None will work on the phone I'm switching to (going to pre-order the LG V20).

With the Note 7, went from being the best phone I've owned to being a total white elephant.

That would have been the reasonable thing, especially as that was what T-Mobile said would happen.

But instead manager said since I bought phone online through T-Mobile, I could not do exchange at T-Mobile store.

In general, employees at these stores don't seem to know much about the phones they sell (can't blame them) and receive mixed messages from corporate.

When I called T Mobile directly to arrange for an exchange, first two CSRs I talked to had no knowledge of T Mobile's own announced exchange policy for the Note 7.

Same thing here...T-Mobile store flat out *refused* to take my Galaxy Note 7 on Saturday. This is about carrier and Samsung incompetence, not end user misinformation or laziness.
