Hey there! Glad you've been enjoying Atlanta's vegan offerings. For the past couple years I've been running ATL Vegan Drinks, a monthly meetup group. I'm also one of the organizers of Atlanta Veg Fest, which is happening on November 9 this year: http://atlantavegfest.com. In terms of favorite spots, the other suggestions so far have been good. Dough Bakery, Dulce Vegan, Cafe Sunflower. Also Wrecking Bar in Little 5 Points puts together a great vegan specials menu every Tuesday (give them a heads up if you plan on taking a big group). There are plenty of places to go!

I think one way to write for the Web would be to post a brief of breaking news soon after it happens and update it throughout the day. Then send the most complete version to print.

I know this is mostly focused on your own experiences so far, but in the past I did get reporters to include hyperlinks with their stories and we had audio soundbites with the Danny Rolling package and blogs for student goverment elections and the national football championship. And breaking news has been posted beyond sports stories. But it's nice that you'll be able to do more of that without even having to go into the office now. Any CMS is better than no CMS. :-)

I wonder if that's just asking for libel lawsuits. Would labeling it "unverified" offer any sort of protection?
