It isn't free but the licensing is flexible enough to allow for a one off V2V migration or a perpetual license for ongoing consolidation. Becuase the P2V process is combined with host based replication all the changes made to the source machine are replicated in real-time while the conversion process is running so there isn't any need for any differential restoration or downtime for a production server.
