We had a pretty good time at the Three Ducks, the location is superb and I dug the layout of the hostel with the open courtyard.

The rooms were a little dingy at the time (2003) but I can only assume that its gotten better!

The Flying Pig was the first hostel I had ever stayed at, it was my first time in Amsterdam and ending up at The Flying Pig made the experience one that I'll never forget.

I stayed in one of the large 22 person dorms, sharing a double bed with one of my mates. (The things you do to save money backpacking :P)

The hostel had all of of the basics covered, a great kitchen, cool staff, bar, pool table etc, but the best part of the hostel for me was the downstairs chillout room! Many nights were spent sitting around with other travellers talking, drinking, smoking and just generally enjoying life.

One of the most professional hostels I've ever stayed at, found it randomly when in Berlin and was blown away.

Circus was actually better than some of the hotels I had previously stayed at, and for 19 Euros it was a bargain.

If you are in Berlin I highly reccomend Circus.

I stayed at MJ Place Hostel in 2003, I actually ended up working there for 5 months because I loved it so much!

If you're looking for a party hostel then this is one will be a very good choice for you in Rome!
