And exactly how does nuclear fission substitute for the use of fossil fuels as a raw material for fertilizer, plastics, asphalt, etc.? Electricity is just ONE of the uses of fossil fuels, and the other uses are far more difficult to find substitutes for, and most certainly nuclear-generated electricity is not a substitute for those uses.

The establishment Republican notion that they can win over Latinos by offering to flood the country with Latino immigrants to compete for their jobs and drive wages into the ground is ludicrous. More people need to confront these idiots. We need to gut what's left of the idiocrat Republican Party and turn it into a genuinely populist political party. Yes, that's the problem with the "Californians will reap what they sowed" argument. Many Californians DID NOT vote for the Democrats now demolishing the state, but will suffer the consequences anyway.

I can, however, attest to the fact that if you can get out of that hellhole it probably will help. I got out in 2008. One of the best things to ever happen to me in my life. I still live in a blue state but not one as extremist or deranged as California.

When I used to live in California I always made that argument. And it's still valid. The problem with the concept that "Californians will be punished for their political idiocy" is that not all Californians were complicit.

There are a hell of a lot of things Warren deserves criticism for but this is not one of them. I use Facebook myself, and I also want it cracked down on.

It reminds me of the people who claim it's hypocritical for a politician to support term limits and not personally adhere to those limits voluntarily by quitting after serving the terms they feel should be the mandatory limit. That is known as unilateral disarmament, and it is as stupid in politics as it is in military strategy.
