You often put into words what I fail to when it comes to movies we've both seen, but this one takes the cake! I agree 1,000% on everything you said. Some moments made me laugh hysterically, but at the same time I totally understood how they would have the opposite effect on others who aren't... me XD

I remember falling in love with Zowroku when I saw him on your shelf at the stable haha, and read the one book you had, I forget now which one it was? But I have adored Hino ever since!

Everything is so fascinatingly beautiful and creative in this book, I'm rendered speechless. I do love that vampire and giant fly; it reminds me of Pee-Wee's Playhouse combined with 50's - style cartoons and paintings. I'd love to know the artist so I could look up more of their work!

I really wish I still had my collection of cheap Halloween sounds on cassette, even before I collected Halloween memorabilia as an intentional "thing", it was fascinating to me to hear the variation between different tapes; I grabbed as many as I could find. I loved playing them year-round at night as they would give me really interesting dreams.

Keep the yellow one with pink hair (Posie) out of the sun! That shade of pink is prone to fade to white and it can happen in a matter of minutes haha. *has about 500 damned ponies from the 80's/90's*

Man, if you still want a vintage Brave Heart Lion Care Bear, I will totally send you one. I've got SO many Care Bears from my childhood and I've always had them around. I'm sure I have two of him somewhere.

This is the cutest article. I've never been so happy for a man to acquire a monster friend... I don't think, anyway.
I've had mine for some years now, a gift from my mom since I'd lost mine as a kid. He IS huge and so heavy, it's easy to believe he's real. I just call mine "Monster" because his vivid colors and big lumpy nose are always the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word.

As a kid, I cried for weeks... WEEKS after finding out about Milo & Otis. It was one of my favorite movies, I'd watched it hundreds of times on VHS before I found out, and it completely shattered my little brain.

It's really awesome of you to care about the little spidey deaths... even though I recall you mentioning being afraid of them? I know that shouldn't make a difference, but for a lot of people phobic of a particular animal, they also don't care if they live or die. So twenty awesome points to you. :)

Worst: I dressed as a grandma when I was about 10 and because I was already the height of a short adult and apparently did my makeup so well, people just kept asking where my grandkids were. I thought they were joking, but I didn't get hardly any candy that year. :(

1. September was mostly spent buying cheap spooky junk on and offline, cleaning/decorating our house, making up recipes, watching Halloween-y videos, and becoming an even bigger fan of your posts.

2. That party I've mentioned a time or two, more and more people said they're going to try and come and I'm going more and more crazy with excitement. I love having an excuse to cook and bake Halloween-y recipes in copious amounts, and make plans and lists!
