No joke, i once saw a guy, (50'ish) wearing "BERMUTA SHORTS" with black socks, & wingtips. My (at the time) wife noted: "his leggs were so white, it was probably his first time in shorts, & i should'nt laugh, because she has to dress me too"!

Since i no longer have her, to "dress me too"! I go with the basics.

Dress Clothes.........Dress Shoes
Work Clothes...........Work Boots
Play Clothes.............Tennis Shoes, or cleats, depending on the type of play!
