You could also get yourself a Tumblr! I bet you would make a very prettyful Tumblr! But I'll take the comments too! I've said it before & I'll say it again, what I miss the most about LJ are good hearty comment conversations, all the best ones I have now are with my LJ ladies. It's like people who didn't livejournal don't know how to work the comments like we do.

Superfluous is a perfect way to describe it! It just feels unnecessary because it was done so recently & so well. The fact that the book is going to have two amazing adaptations is pretty phenomenal though. I have the book requested at the library. I can't wait to read it!

Ooh, I'll check it out! I tried doing some weight stuff a few weeks ago & could barely walk the next day. The bad thing with me & weight exercises is that while I'm doing them I feel great, but afterward it hurts like hell. We've been so bad with our exercising lately. For awhile we were doing yoga a few times a week, plus a little cardio & walking, now we just walk. We are really good about walking though, we've only taken the bus to grocery shop one time since April! That's amazing considering we used to take the bus everywhere. I hate taking the bus now. Waiting for it is so frustrating & I resent having to pay to go somewhere I could take a kitty petting walk to. I don't know why we got out of the habit with our yoga, I love yoga'ing & I've felt awful lately because I'm not stretching & namaste'ing.

I do adore a chatty Raychel! I loved all your Flickr comments the other day! I'm trying to Flickr more because I love it! I am eagerly anticipating your Halloween e-mail & can't wait to see pictures of your tree!

It really is! I love when you can obviously see stunt doubles during fight scenes. This one was so obvious that they shouldn't have even tried to cut Alicia into the scene. God I love poorly edited/dubbed movies! They're a laugh riot!

It's adorable that you responded to this post because when we watched it I said that I bet you looked like Amber Benson did in the movie when you were that age! She's so achingly cute!

The name change happened because apparently the writer/director was telling an autobiographical story & the real girl's name was Darian. She sued him, so the TV & DVD versions had to be poorly dubbed with unknown actor's voices.

I didn't care for the Bleeding Love routine, but I know I'm in the minority. I sure did love Chelsie though! I mean, not enough to watch her on Dancing With the Stars, but I still enjoyed her. I'm excited to see Mark back this season too.

I have not been able to stop thinking about a double female dance with Comfort since you mentioned it! It would be AMAZING! :)

This post actually made me feel bad for Nicole - that she seems to assign confidence solely to her size, which she admits is healthy. A woman is so many more things than her size, and that's where confidence comes from - knowing, loving & tending to every aspect of who you are. And let me tell you this, a body can be loved, by yourself & by others no matter what the size. That average sized 180 pound woman strutting down the street in her pencil skirt is a much prettier allusion to me than poor 115 pound Nicole, denying herself calories in order to lose unnecessary pounds, delaying her happiness until those pounds are lost, and judging other women, when what she should be doing is asking these women, "Why are you confident? Where do you find your esteem?" Because obviously the esteem overweight women who somehow manage to dress themselves & get out the door in the morning is far greater than Nicole's. Her judgment is a veil, what I really see is envy. I'm disappointed that a blog I always look forward to reading validated this submission.

There is a lovely nostalgia sweetness about seeing an annual holiday movie on TV. I really enjoyed seeing JCS on TV this year & I miss when TBS would air A Christmas Story for 24 hours a day on Christmas. Watching it on DVD isn't nearly as much fun.
