He's right. Howard Kurtz and other lib commentators observed the same thing. 24 hour coverage of a minor storm that is still hundreds of miles away is overkill. Hourly updates would have been adequate. It's not like the media can do anything about the weather. Everyone knows what to do when a hurricane is predicted, two or three days in advance. Stock up and hunker down. If you live in a low area, get out. Common sense. The fact that vermont has flooding has nothing to do with whether the media covered it around the clock or not.

I Have no deviance. What I do have is first hand experience of the effects of child rape. You have that youthful and idealistic logical error of assuming that it is immoral to have morality. Your father's overgeneralization is wrong, and you need more experience before you insult people you don't know with zero familiarity. Rather absurd that this advocate for the predator/deviates likens them to "minorities back in the day". They all need a swift execution, then we will not have to worry about where they are or "if they will reoffend". There is no place for them in civilized society, isn't that obvious? No one is willing to risk their children's lives so these pukes can live next door.

If the problem is indeed as Mr. Kusiak describes, will another 6.25% tax deter people those who are addicted from buying alcohol? Of Course not. And do we have a government "program" which will end alcoholism? Of course not. (The best attempt has been AA and it is not government funded).

Now it's "BIG" alcohol? Funny how the left just puts the word big in front of anything they want to demonize. How about we end "BIG' Taxes??? Like cigarettes, the government is the solution to everything crowd would never ban an item this harmful; Heck no, the answer is to tax it more. Taxes never go to what they say they go to...they end up in the general fund to enrich politicians and their friends and families. No double taxes on anything!!

Trillion dollar stimulus packages, government bailouts, and Obamacare are all okay. A cap and trade tax that would raise energy prices, a card check proposal that would eliminate the secret ballot and force unionization on employers, and higher taxes when the Bush-era tax cuts expire in 2011 are all fine.

Well both Abortion and gay marriage were not laws made by congress. They were decied by the courts. Besides, are these really the issues that affect most people nowadays? What about the corruption and criminality of so many in government (rangel, waters, tierney, diMasi, wilkerson, gallucio, marzilli, et alia), and the on-going and worsening recession despite trillions in deficit spending ? And has anyone told Tierney that obama opposes gay marriage?
