Great article and so true - we end up trusting those that are dressed 'right' and show 'authority' or 'act as if' they know what they are doing. It's all a big game and the public have been set-up to take the risks and be on the losing end.

GMO's are safe for American consumption - other countries in the World would rather avoid them though for some strange reasons... click on individual countries for their restrictions/bans:

The author James Cooper "has been cooking and eating fine food for over 30 years, and grows most of his vegetables. He is the author of Cooking for Graduate Students" YET still seems to think GMO is safe - despite the evidence to the contrary. Clearly needs to do some more research and have an open mind to both sides of a discussion rather than being myopic.

The great thing about Americanized English is that it generally has fewer letters to make the same word or their word is a simpler or shorter version. Great for kids before they progress to the adult version of real English as spoken by the Queen (aka Elton John).
