When some things settle down later in the summer I will see when I have some time available.

We slept here Mom. We have boxes all over, but we're pretty much moved in!!

Re: Social Networking...out of control?

You're right on Brad. You said a lot of things that were swirling around in my head but I couldn't enunciate. I think there is quite a deceptive quality to the whole social networking beast. It permeates much deeper than people think, because often the very reason people use it is to be more "connected," and in the process feel they ARE more connected, when they are not. People are falling more and more away from one another in REAL relationships by using (sometimes exclusively) certain social networking sites. But they have no clue that its happening. And virtually every part and focus is of a self-centered nature...

Anyway, yeah, thanks Brad. I'll stop now because I sound like a dofus in comparison to your ROCKIN REPLY!! XD

I found you on Twitter, I believe, from the built-in add contacts tool that looks up gmail accounts.

Re: ben's tumblelog | Introducing Safari 4 - See the web in a whole new way

Yeah, well of course I'm still going to try/use Chrome when (if ever) the thing comes out for Mac. But really, is the Omnibar that big of a deal? When is it used other than doing a search? Because currently Safari 4 pulls from your history and favorites if you just start typing in the address bar (which sounds similar to Chrome.) It just doesn't do a new site that is unvisited or a search.

Anyway, still seems to me that Safari is quite polished. I'm not sure what I think about the tabs either...but I do really like Top Sites.

Is Vienna much better for RSS than say, google reader? I tend to do everything web-based if I can; it makes things easier to me, and I can jump around computers with virtually no hassle.

Re: A fun game for movie buffs who happen to use Linux

I don't understand how this relates to linux...?

Re: ben's tumblelog | Pizza I made for lunch alongside some homebrew...

The brick makes a huge difference.
