My thoughts after using the new look for a couple days:
*I REALLY like that it clearly states at the top of the report the date and time the data was last updated -- I think that's hugely important and helps answer a lot of questions from users.

*I find it very inconvenient that most of the report options are now hidden under the 'More Options' sub-menu, especially given that toolbar is mostly just empty space. I especially think the 'Favorite', 'Analyze in Excel', and 'Refresh' options need to be on the main menu rather then in the sub-menu. Also, the Full Screen option needs to be more prominent, especially given my next issue...

*I dislike how the tabs/pages of the report have moved from the bottom to instead be an additional layer to the side navigation menu. I understand the thinking and it's more consistent with the rest of the navigation, but it takes up significant real estate, resulting in LOTS of white space and a significantly smaller report. While the tabs weren't always immediately obvious to all users, it does match the visuals of Excel so is not a difficult transition.

*Maybe there's a way of changing this and I just haven't stumbled across it yet, but the report now loads with the filters tab automatically opened which is not something I want most users to be seeing. Not only does it use up valuable screen space, but I want users to be using the slicers built into the report instead and sometimes need to add things to the built-in filters that most users will probably get confused by if they see it or try to change them which could result in them misinterpreting the presented information.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see Two Roads' Roadsmary's Baby on this list, but not at all surprised it performed so well. You saved me from having to implore you to make sure you got to try it next year! I don't normally like pumpkin ale's all that much. but I am pretty obsessed with Two Roads. They also have one of the best summer fruit beers (Road Jam), which manages to avoid all the sickly sweetness so common for those kinds of beers.

No mention of the Old Presque Isle Lighthouse? Despite no longer having electricity, the light still shines every evening and is said to be the ghost of a previous caretaker (the light that shines doesn't match any other light in the area, making the possibility of reflection pretty slim). I believe it was also investigated by Ghost Hunters a couple years back and after darkening the entire town, the light still shone and no explanation was found.

I'm having a really hard time swallowing the extent to which people were offended by this. Maybe part of that is because I *have* been following you as well as the twins for so long and feel as intimately aware of the story as is possible at this point. I guess I just don't see how this is any different than any other form of art: authors writing books about difficult topics (something that comes immediately to mind: The Bluest Eye which deals with child molestation, racism, and incest. Granted there are a lot of places still trying to ban it, but it's also considered classic literature and highly esteemed throughout most literary circles) as well as disturbing paintings and sculptures and movies that intimately portray very difficult subject matter which have all been well-received, have garnered awards (sometimes even from mass-media), and are often commended by being brave (a la Sean Penn in I am Sam who was nominated for an academy award for portraying a mentally disabled man or for his actual win for Milk for portraying a gay politician--of which he belongs to neither of these marginalized communities; not to mention the thousands of more fictional works dealing with very similar, and oftentimes even more difficult themes and subject matter). Art is art and I think this harsh backlash is very unfounded. Amanda, you are amazing and beautiful and unequivocally talented and it is inspirational how much you actually encourage this kind of discussion rather than skirting the issues and trying to hide until it blows over. It makes me sad it isn't as widely understood, but I guess that's the sign that you're really onto something amazing here. Keep up the great work--you are loved
