Oh yay, we can look like twelve-year-old boys together! (I even wore my baggy khakis and Spiderman sweater today. Woohoo!)

I honestly don't think you look twelve - I agree with Rachel, it actually makes you look more mature. If you're concerned about looking too young, try wearing some fantastically long, elaborate earrings. Also, see how it looks with a side part, just for kicks.

My advice: Before any drastic and non-reversible hair change, wait a month. If you still want the same thing a month later, do it.

And if you ever cut your hair in a way you regret, remember two things (both of which I learned first-hand this month):
1) It'll grow back!
2) Hats are your friend.

Alternatively, you could do what I do instead of what I say and just hack it off impulsively. Woo!
