Im sorry for your hurt, that the church can be so laser focused on "right" that the righteousness in Christ means merely sanitizing our lives. You could cancel a show because of the church's infidelities, the number of divorces, etc etc etc. you are so right. This is peripheral and completely misses the point. Even if you just stick to the New Testament, Jesus says, divorce is wrong. At least 50% of the church would be excommunicated. So do I take this literal, as in now that I'm divorced Jesus doesn't love me? Ridiculous. As ridic as the crusades and the things done every day in the name of Jesus. Praise God for the lovers, like Gungor music. Praise God!

I choose to believe in the flood, in the garden, in Adam and Eve and talking snakes and talking donkeys. The Church and the world have forgotten the mystery and to me, Gungor music opens the mystery up a bit more. I guess people call it doubt, but I'm perfectly happy knowing we're all imperfect. I also don't think we're alone in the galaxies. The breakdown on either side is the intolerance for intolerant people, which makes the saying, "God love'em" so fun to use.

I heard you speak in Oklahoma about God throwing a party for the prodigal son. I've been working on this with my kids. People say, "Give'em an inch..." blah blah blah. I was brought up in the fear from of discipline and grew up to believe God's love was conditional (even though now, my parents are amazing unconditional lovers). If we don't model GRACE, how will they get it? Then, recently, I said to my sister when she didn't want to give in to her daughter, "But there's grace!" She said, "Not for kids!" I totally disagree. God's love is grace. We can't preach grace for fear people don't understand consequences. We live consequences, there is never enough GRACE!

Not to take away from these awesome and telling points, but I keep reading alot about this point of view. I mostly share this point of view. So what are we Christians, going to do about it? Judging all our ignorant brothers isn't God's way either. Sometimes your neighbor is the annoying Christianese guy.

Ah, I can't say enough good things about Chick-fil-A, they are so gluten free friendly. I enjoy the fruit salad with grilled chicken, I ask for buffalo dressing and with the vinagrette make a very nice treat for myself!

Well, I'm awaiting the chariot, I have the youversion verse of the day on the home page with the Bible app underneath as top 4. I don't believe in buying apps as that money should be given to the poor and needy, the orphans or widows.

I realize that I'm lame to like KLOVE and Air1, my musician friends tell me so. Anyways, I've been going through my worst case scenario and nothing beats scripture being sung in my head and I'm not taking the time to make real music cds because I do other things (like read this blog). BUT there is salvation, you can all hear it at 91online.com. It's an amazing online radio station that got axed in OKC and so the creative interns revived it without the church backing and it's better than ever, they play stuff I can't find on spotify, so that should appeal to all the pretentiousness here. Love ya'll!

We also did Chinese firedrill. In a small rural town, we did this in the middle of the backroads and would inevitably "leave" someone behind. But it was way more fun in El Paso, Texas, in the middle of busy intersections. For those who don't know, it's when the barely running church van (earlier post) stops at a red light and everyone gets out and runs around the van and back in before the light turns green. Can't imagine they'd let anyone do that now!
