I honestly don't understand why my first post is still pending after one day.
I already have 14 letters collected to reply in the first half of February. BUT if you like to write to me in Switzerland (I'm fom Germany), you're more than welcome and I'll reply in the second half of February.
I've replied to every letter or card in the past, so if you didn't get an answer sadly, one of the letters has been lost in the mail.
Currently not so fixated with amassing ink or fountain pens (1.5 - 2.5 liters of ink and 60 odd pens, but I am thinking about a platinum 3776) but for me the pens were a gateway to drawing and painting (still have to use the liters of ink).

Last year was the best InCoWriMo ever!
Participating for the fifth time now this year. Made some long term penpals through this.
I'm a bavarian living in Switzerland for the twelfth year now.
Unfortunately my handwritig is nicely described as artistic. lol, expect some scribbles in my letters or Artist Trading Cards from time to time as a compensation for this.
Corresponding about art, paper and art supplies besides pen talk and whats going on in life right now is always welcome.
Here a glimpse of what I'm usually drawing with (mostly) Fountainpen and watercolor. But I have also seen the occasional Sharpie 😂

Hello there,

Since the new list is up, I copy my information from the old one here.

Fourth time InCoWriMo participant so far. I like to talk about art, sketching in particular and anything pen related. But the most interesting point is where the conversations are going, starting with a blank page and the first letter.
I lived in Bavaria for the most part of my life, but am currently my eleventh year in Switzerland. Sometimes I doodle on the letters or envelopes.

At the beginning of this year, I started with nine sketchbooks to complete. Currently, I‘m down to five, one only has a double page left to finish and usually, I keep the last page for something special to finish.
I also began a new one that is also close being completed as my daily go to sketchbook. While I really like to experiment with different sizes, papers and orientations - that‘s why I had so much going on - I also like the continuity, looking at the pages as they were filled day by day. That‘s why I maybe like to come down to three sketchbooks in rotation eventually.
Oh, I also completed one that was used for direct watercolor sketches only, but I won‘t mind such experiments in my daily sketchbook either.
I did not count two other sketchbooks. One is probably only for using oil paint and another one hasn‘t found it‘s place yet, maybe it‘s also being used for experimenting with oils, so theoretically, I have seven give or take.

I like to pre use the sketchbooks, so when I finally keep to one, it isn‘t new any more

A photograph is to dimensional, a sketch Also is two dimensional. But I can move around or shift and change the viewpoint and integrate objects, structures, people anything that interests me that might not be Visible if I just snapped a photograph .
