Let's extend the disengenuous approach employed by the "researcher:"

Assume land "rebounds," rising 1 foot.

Assume water (sea) level rises 1 foot.

The net impact of these two changes to the shoreline, to inhabitability, to human experience?

Yep, zero. Zip. Nada. Nothing. Not of any concern whatsoever.....

But, were one, say, just for instance, an ideologically-driven radical endorsing ever-greater governmental control by exaggerating the "huge, imminent, threatening" spectre of AGW, one would report half-truths just as the researcher in question has done.

No doubt, you consider that a mere coincidence.

Carry on in your credulous belief in the impartiality of those who receive hundreds of millions of grand dollars, and endless laudatory publicity, for trumpeting the imminent global catastrophe that will ensue unless we all just cede greater control to the government.

Yep, a thick coat of white paint, a blind eye, and a little imagination makes this a "Miracle" scandal-free administration.....except for, among other things:

- The MULTIPLE tax cheats appointed
- Solyndra debacle - pressure from administration leads to subversion of vetting process and utter waste of over $500 Million of tapayers' monies - all to benefit - coincidentally, of course, Obama campaign bundlers
- LightSquared - in which administration officials attempt to pressure experts (including a flag officer in our military) to change their testimony involving a company tied to....yep, you guessed it, a major Obama campaign supporter
- Fast and Furious - no biggie; the bungling administration fostered sale of weapons to Mexican drug lords, leading directly to murder of at least one American official

Yep, the admin is "scandal-free" - so long as one ignores the huge, obvious, and despicable actions of that same administration.

Anyone out there left to wonder which way JA leans politically?

That bill has already done grave harm; it's added substantially to the uncertainty that has stifled economic recovery. It's furthered the crony capitalism AND crony socialism practiced by this incompetent administration; the latter is evident in the distribution of "get out of Obamacare free" dispensations.
And, of course, after spending the better part of two years arrogantly maneuvering to shove down Americans' throats this utter dog of an unconstitutional millstone, the Amateur has the chutzpah to call out "obstructionism" on the part of the House as the reason (along with tsunami, Europe, Bush, the euro, poison ivy, chancre sores, athlete's foot, mother-in-law visitation, and high humidity) as the reasons for his utterly failed policies.

Name another scientific theory with equivalently "firm" support for which the advocates are running hither and yon screeching that "the science is settled."

Only those unfamiliar with the scientific method make such assertions.....unless they've an agenda (e.g., advocating for huge governemental controls, and/or billions of dollars in research grants, and/or fradulently-granted taxpayers' monies - at least as long as the Amateur is in office).

Go ahead. Cite a few other cases. Are scientists running about declaring that "the science is settled" with regard to black holes? String theory? Sub-atomic particles? The Big Bang? Elvis' location? No - hmmmm.....perhaps that's because scientific theories, like AGW are NEVER "settled."
