While it's absolutely true that anyone can self-distribute an app, it's a little bit of a stretch to say one can self-publish.  Publishing requires a whole host of coordinated activity including marketing/PR, QA/playtesting and localization. As more and more apps are submitted, it becomes increasingly important to differentiate your games over the cacophony of noise in the App Store.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Our company, which is made up of experienced and passionate gamemakers, acts as a collaborative force for our creative partners teaming together to make the best games possible.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On #3, we tried to do some of the triangulation on the math early on in the lifecycle of our company but really haven't been able find any consistent correlation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Alan&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">bluefintoro</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 17 Feb 2009 20:43:06 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
