I think it was called "V: The Final Battle" and yes it was from the daughter of Robin Maxwell who was actually a twin... kid was called Elizabeth and the other twin that was way more reptilian died. Remember the red dust they used to kill the aliens? Wow I loved that show... when they found out the Visitors wanted water and the humans as food!
