Hey Lilian,

Thanks for the comment. I don't think Twitter will replace call centres quite yet as the vollume of tweets they received was simply unmanageable and not everything can be dealt with in 140 characters or less.

Saying that, it was really helpful to have someone from Easyjet answering our tweets providing us with real-time information when no one could get through their call centres.

Kudos to them from handling the crisis the way they did!

Thanks for commenting. Agreed, the T-Mobile dance wasn't a flashmob per se, however it did create a lot of conversations. I really liked the fact their social media agency, Mediacom, invited me to blog backstage for the second flashmob. I was sadly stuck on a client call and never made it on time :(

I haven't won a €1000 quite yet! I think it's €1000 in total (so €500 each)

I didn't even know I was going to win anything to be fair! I wrote this blog post as I felt it was something fun to take part in and the timing was perfect considering I've just got back from Paris)

They're going to select a winner based on the blog posts at a later stage at which point there'll be a disclaimer on this very blog. The agency behind this campaign is Buzz Paradise

I couldn't agree more with you - how can a blogger write an honest review of the product if they haven't experiences the brand?

Chris and Peter - thanks for commenting and I am glad that you agree.

I think there are two different types of bloggers - professional bloggers such as Sian who lives of her writing, and casual bloggers such as ourselves who blog just for fun.

I wouldn't mind paying someone like Sian to write about something as I am sure she would write a truthful review of the product/service I was PRing to her.

I however wholeheartedly disagree on paying casual bloggers as the quality of their content could be compromised.

I can't believe that 62% of PROs (PR week survey) think it's OK to pay bloggers to write blog posts. Appalling!

That's funny, because in my books the ad makes Dixons sound like some kind an awful place you really want to go to (the stores are awful!) / purchase a TV from (I hate their website).

Sp yeah the colours are clever but it really doesn't make me want to buy anything from them - must be a snob! ha
