My wish for 2019 is for my DH to make it through chemo with minimal side effects and have it be successful so he can go back to doing what he whatever he wants to do. On a more materialistic level, I wish for a new house for our family. Seven people in a three bedroom house is tough. We started looking just before DH found out about his cancer so we had to put that on hold for now. Someday though!

Good corn on the cob. The only time we get it is in the summer so we can get good fresh Jersey or PA corn. Rest of the year it's frozen niblets.

We've been doing a container garden since we don't have much of a yard. Last year we had tomatoes, various herbs, and attempted strawberries. This year I'd like to expand our herbs a bit and try peppers or green beans.

Birth of the Firebringer by Meredith Ann Pierce. I fell in love with this book as a child and I can't count how many times I've read it. I found out as an adult that it's actually the first of a trilogy but I have yet to read the other 2 books.

This is a tough one as there are a couple things that I love to do. The one that I actually get to do is read. I love reading. My night time routine involves either knitting or reading before bed. The other is one that I don't get to do that often for lack of time but I do love the bellydance. :-) It's the one kind of dancing that doesn't make me feel silly or uncoordinated for some reason.

If I were the winner I'd use this lovely yarn to make myself some sort of cabled poncho. It just begs for cables of some kind and I've been wanting to make a ponch for a while. :-)

To take care of me this year I'm going to make more time for me. To knit, to read, to do something that I enjoy each day. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 with only one in school and then only for the morning so I'm surrounded by someone who needs something pretty much 24/7. So instead of wearing down to the breaking point, I'll make sure that I get at least 15 minutes to do something for me each day.
