This is about color and culture politics, not necessarily about women warriors or generals leading troops into battle. Most of these women you mention are same-cultured Euros and Asian women. Dany is a white Targaryen woman leading brown and black troops: the Dothraki and the Unsullied, who has a different idea about the people she leads. No wonder Grey Worm and Missandei can't wait to move forward with their lives. Now extrapolate on that aspect--color and culture--and that alone. You're dodging.

It took a loooonnnnggg time for Italians and Irish to be accepted as white in the U.S. People should read, "How the Irish Became White," by Noel Ignatiev. Especially when the Italians arrived, they were considered as far down the totem pole as blacks. Same with Irish. They were depicted in cartoons as gorillas and apes in England, and it continued in the U.S. for some time.

That was the Golden Temple in their sacred city, Amritsar. Her bodyguards, who happened to be Sikh, assassinated her. Her assassination was not a directive by Sikh holy men--unlike that of mullahs that declare fatwas. Suspicion fell on her secretary, who was later executed along with two assassin survivors of the fatal assault. In all, four or five people were executed for Gandhi's death.

Thousands of Sikhs, however, were murdered in retaliation all over India over Gandhi's killing. Many Sikhs in the 1970s-1980s had turned to militancy because as a religious minority, they saw themselves as increasingly losing rights subsumed under a predominantly Hindu country, and under the Indian National Congress which Gandhi and her father had headed. A few weeks before Gandhi was killed, one of their leaders, Bhindranwale, was killed by her forces at the Golden Temple. Bhindranwale did not advocate a separate Sikh state, but he did advocate self-defense, and this stance contributed to the insurgency during this period.

People have to understand that individuals who bind their hair in a turban are not always Arabs or Muslims. You get more respect and understanding when people show respect and understanding. And also, KNOW HISTORY.

The way colorism works, she's considered black no matter what her parentage or even her origin. As for Fiennes, one of the Schindlerjude met him as Amon Goeth in full SS regalia, and she visibly shook in her clothes because he resembled the man so closely. Maybe that's the way he could move from playing romantic roles to playing the likes of Heathcliff or Voldemort.
