I think its the non coordinating colors of the bows along the vamp of the sandal. The colors just kind of clash and give it juvenile look.

But yours are SO much better! The brass definitely looks more grown up and keeps the focus on the adorability of the bows rather than the poor color choice that you get with the Marc Jacobs pair. Good find!!

Re: chickdowntown.com giveaway: Tolani scarf

I'll be entering my first year of college at the age of 18 in september at Boston University- while I do need a pair of really sturdy leather boots a part of me wants to wear something whimsy, delicate, and ever so prim. The perfect pair of shoes for this is the Chanel bow tie peep toe bootie in a white and black checkered pattern- adorable, chic, simple, and absolutely classic...the pattern and the button adorned bows along the front are the crowning touch. These would look perfect with a silk black pleated skirt, a red peacoat worn with sweater tights to add fun to those gloomy Northeastern autumn days (while still keeping warm of course).

http://www.femalefirst.co.u...

Arielle Gray, 18, agray510@yahoo.com

Re: Organizers, planners, and agendas -- oh my!

I totally understand the whole need for a written agenda. But now since you have a mac you should definitely download Schoolhouse 2 which is completely awesome. Its also free- you should give it a try :)
