The article is talking about Planck length, a theoretical shortest distance in this world that can be measured or even quantized. If the author is referring to the universe as an infinite distance, that's not even addressed in the article nor mentioned how that may or may not even be true.

<dc:creator toronto area, if standing in the general vicinity of yonge street simply use their image recognizer on a jackboxer -whether on a display screen or any printed image should be able to retrieve any message left there (if there is one). some messages appear to be dependent on gps location and image detection. however, the range of the location to retrieve the message is unknown -for example. whether you can get the same message a mile away from the actual place it was left.

<dc:creator in the jackboxer app and use a tone generator to generate a 528Hz signal then a dodecahedron appears on the screen. you can also open up the frequency analyzer when the theme song to the show is playing and see the same shape because the 528Hz signal is embedded in it.

Mon, 04 Jun communication

#weylandinvestors #projectprometheus #areyouseeingthis #discoverprometheus etc... while the release date is still far away, i find it odd all their hashtags keep changing after they introduce noise to them.

#weylandinvestors started getting "brought to you by" twitter post noise based on someone sharing weylandinvestors.com pages to their followers - easy enough to filter out, if you know how.

then, #projectprometheus was intended for the projectprometheus.com website, which later went viral, but also had less of a bit of twitter noise after the passwords were discovered ;

#areyouseeingthis was the uk hashtag that lightly touched on the game but then became something strictly promotional. it even resulted in some players straying off course with false leads without explanation whether it's in-game or not.

and then #discoverprometheus comes along, handing out images found in the facebook apps after a certain time. it also involves more marketing and 'exclusive' pop culture sites. there's really no 'game' there.

adding all these hashtags on one post doesn't leave enough room to say anything substantial and to be communicated effectively.

they're killing whatever 'game' there is or was by confusing players to what exactly is the game hashtag. if there is/was one: #projectprometheus? other players may not realise that such that certain info and lines of thoughts may be lost to twitter - also, disparately not knowing if the game is alive or not. if it is still alive, what to pursue is of question as the outlets become more broad and of the marketing variety where content is handed down to everyone in due time.

this movie certainly is one of the most highly anticipated movies of this year; but as of the viral arg-ish game, i'd think many players have dropped off. without any direction and with the hindsight of what has transpired we may not be as eager to participate as it lost any sustained and compelling value considering the time invested.

i see a trend of waning virals args as of late that have skipped on the pulse of players' interests due to these gaps of time.

Sat, 14 Apr 2012 names.

why invest time and energy on interaction and placing content on a social network that may potentially delete or block your profile?

just speaking from someone else's point of view to highlight another element of this:
sure they've gotten more lenient with certain criteria and instances of certain kinds of names, but there has been a number of folks who have been deleted and never returned or have been under the appeal process. others don't want more of their privacy violated with the extra hassle of appeal documentation and stick to other places that have more peace of mind for them. even if they were approved after the appeal process, who's to say it won't happen again? there's less incentive for using it if, at the back of one's mind, it's going to be deleted, again.

and, there's always the journalist template of 'xyz' is dead, if there are points to argue for it to spur interest. in this case you can argue either way. google plus appeals to certain crowds but not everyone for many different reasons.

<dc:creator themselves in the foot when they tried promoting their technology at a gdgt la event and a separate event in los angeles.

the registration was the most intrusive and ridiculous thing i've ever come across -asking for a farther in-depth personally identifiable information beyond just an email and name. it asked for emergency contact name/number/info, mailing address, cellphone number to send an sms, *and* a mandatory installation of a facebook app to register for the event. this facebook app was a facebook equivalent to spyware in that it also lets them scan all your facebook friends, look at your posts, gather your facebook email(if it's different than your rsvp email), and collect your 'likes' and other various and irrelevant data from your personal profile for 'marketing' purposes. it was to an extreme standpoint that it immediately turned me off from the two events they had planned. pretty much it looks like you had to eventually sell your soul just to get an advanced look at the device and os. that is beyond where i draw the line just to learn about a new piece of tech.

<dc:creator about this app especially because the license check is performed every single time the iphone app starts up. this requires their servers to be up and running, making users reliant on their servers for server has to be up for it to do a license check every single time the app starts up. you have to install an app on your computer (windows or mac) and run it. also, you start up the ios app and wait until it says 'registered'. if the ios app doesn't say registered, then the server check failed because their servers are down or intermittent. you have to keep restarting the stupid app until the license is approved. when that is taken care of and both the apps on the iphone and the computer are running... finally, you can connect your iphone to your computer for the connection to be established.

this license check should only be done once in my opinion. every single time is ridiculous and makes users reliant on their servers to be up for it to work.

Re: Microsoft, interface but i think it gets convoluted with a lot of words on screen as opposed to a visual icon non-monochrome symbol that stands out, to show what you're tapping on. this is especially true on the main, top-level interface. for instance, a mail envelope icon immediately tells the user it's email as opposed to the email address shown on the first page. nice placement, but exposes his email mmediately to shoulder surfers. it still needs work.

Thu, 02 Jun 2011 02:30:07
