Wow, that's really amazing! I would say it's worth somewhere between 30 000 and 100 000 dollars probably - if you look at some prices his work was sold for in the past, but I am really not an art dealer, you should contact someone more experienced! If you get some professional opinion on this I would be interested to know if i was right ;]

this is quite bizzare! I forgot to mention to you to be careful with Lee Miller posts here - Myself and few other people were warned by the person behind Lee Miller archive that most of her work is still in copyright and shouldn't be shared without their explicit consent which we'll never have of course.. Exceptions are when her photos are used as a promo material for an exhibition if i recall their letter well... They even asked me to delete some posts but I might have found a better solution to keep myself under their radar - I don't use Lee Miller tag no more;]

You could easily be right! She looked strangely old to me as well - but the caption at source stated that date so I left it.... I should probably edit post now when someone else noticed;] thanks!

I remember when this first showed up i figured it was you who submitted this and I mentioned it in my post, but I still can't believe some people are still posting this on tumblr with no credit whatsoever and get away with it ;/ I found it 'featured in vintage' just now so I thought I should let you know, although i'm afraid it's probably not the first time it happened...
