I use MySpace specifically for my music business. I personally wouldn't want to merge that with my Facebook account, but it is great to see MySpace reemerging:)

I'm confused. Is this a mobile app? If so what platform? As far as I know Windows Phone 7 doesn't support AR because there is no connection for developers to the camera? #AmIwrong?

I think there has been a huge amount of false economy in our sector over the years with large corporates making staff redundant and then paying them more as contractors to do the same job.

All pretty obvious really, but good news all the same. John Donahoe, CEO of eBay is thinking in a similar way. His prediction for 2011 is that eBay will generate between US$1.5 and 2 billion in revenues from mobile this year. They are on the acquisition trail and buying companies including www.redlaser.com that effectively allows you to take a photo of a bar code in a store and instantly see what the same product will sell for on Ebay, Amazon etc. Of course there's nothing here that I haven't been saying and writing about for years.

In principle this sounds like a great idea. From a security point of view I'd like to know more about what risks there are of people hacking into my PC via this service. My Google account has been hacked once and they were not able to protect me.

I was one of Palm's biggest evangelists in NZ in the day, but I'm wondering if this is too little too late, especially from an OS that is neither Palm, Android or Apple. I want a tablet with all the apps. Are the majority of app developers going to support weBOS and Windows Phone as well as Android and iPhone? As to price, I'm seeing 10" Android's available worldwide for under US$200 such as this http://www.lightinthebox.co... if HP want pricing I've heard whispered i.e. close to $1,000 it could be a struggle.

I think its a great idea, bored and hungry is a good description. Make it fun and make it now. I did wonder though what happens when a McDonalds restaurant is empty so they do a deal and 5 minutes later they have 200 people in their store?

Never thought about fridges from an efficiency perspective, usually about the space that's available for them. Ice makers etc attract a premium that make them unattractive anyway. Wouldn't mind a water cooler (filter) for summer, how does that rate for energy efficiency? Think I already know the answer:(
