To quell your anxiety, you might consider becoming a one-issue voter this time around with potentially three Supreme Court appointments to be filled. Supreme Court justices typically last much longer than presidents. Which candidate would appoint the types that you'd like to see behind the bench?

Maybe I'm just not following him correctly, but he seems to have gotten the planetary orbit shapes incorrect? He seems to be saying the Copernican model is correct and missed Kepler's work?

I installed Bernhard Baehr's sleepwatcher and put my MBR to sleep before undocking from my BookEndz. My chmod +x .sleep file that it executes is as follows:
$ cat <eos> ~/.sleep
logger -t sleepwatcher "unmounting My Book"
umount /Volumes/My\ Book
sleep 5
EOS
It doesn't always work (perhaps because TimeMachine is in the middle of backing up when I put the machine to sleep?), but it usually does...
I'll try it with the '-f'.
