what about the city? The city owns Showpark (horse center a few miles away from Del Mar fairgrounds), there are at least 20 illegal workers there on a daily basis. If they were to check during a show how many illegals are working there during a major show, it would be in the hundreds. All on city property, that is a city owned buisness. Some of them even live there year round. Some of them make $4000 a month and no taxes. fake id's, fake drivers lic., all working around young children and untrackable. Im not saying illegals are more likley to commit a crime, but that many untrackable people is dangerous if you ask me. All under the city of san diego's roof.

The most incredible part of this property, is the corruption of the city, and governing bodies that it has buried into it. That land was sold to be a horse farm, after a city adviser said it can be a horse farm. To then say it is not fit use for the property, and forced the owner to sell for much less after fining repeatedly for ridiculous reasons. Now it will have on it a second church. Its funny how MHPA land (multiple habitat protection agency) doesn't see horses as being fit for use, but a church is ok? Enjoy the view birdies. As for the underpass, the only thing passing under it, is our local illegals and some snotty kids on dirt bikes. the ethics committee needs to stop excepting those tasty pies before they get caught. There is so much unsaid about what the city goes through to push you out of what they want. They even lie to your neighbors to get free spies. whole lot of red tape people

I'm trying to figure out why it matters private or city owned yet? IT'S ILLEGAL EITHER WAY. Unless they are hoping to profit from it themselves. I didn't know it was ok to grow 400 pot plants on private land without a permit. Can we shoot em if its on private land? (take care of all sorts of problems that way. just kidding)

Before we take the opinion of one grumpy person that does not enjoy the VERY occasional surprise of fireworks. I also live and have a horse farm on the mesa, and while the horses do get restless, it isn't anymore then if a motorcycle passes or even the truck that comes to deliver the hay. There is also no comparison between horses and the average wild animal. Horses are animals of flight (fight or flight). Most wild animals are naturally on guard, and can quickly dismiss a threat without retreat. Please, lets keep the firework, this town has a habit of getting rid of the things we enjoy, in fact it won't be long before one reason or another the horses have to go too. I'm surprised Jan would stick her nose into this sort of thing, knowing the complaints just comeback on the farms ten fold.

i dont know about for life, but in agreeing with some type of harsh punishment for placing razor blades in a playground is due. Without a doubt, if i ever see someone placing blades where my kid plays, a f'n baseball bat is going to crush their f'n skull.

The one he/she works for. if you read all his responses, he/she finally brings that up. i had to read on, i was 1st to comment and mcuff was quick to accuse me of not having a good argument.

Don't know what I'm talking about - its not to argue with somebody like i like coke better then pepsi. the FACT that my backyard smell the way it does is all the proof i need to know what I'm talking about. didn't take rocket science to figure it out. what it did do was cost a lot of money for the mess. Now as far as mcuff's comment, it may help bring up a possible cause. My soil might have a drainage issue. if so, its too late now, and something the companies need to look into. they are not going to fix it cause i don't like the smell. it is not just a little sticky at that. my neighbors are also bothered by it, its that bad. I have a valid argument, so unless you are a dealer EasyTurf, there isn't reason for you to be bother by my side of a FACTUAL issue. If i offended your lawn, I'm sorry. By all means, enjoy your outings. I will not

if you own pets, your lawn will smell like a sewer in just a few weeks. Products don't help, they cover the smell for a day or 2, then smells like urine, and cover up. sounds easy to just hose off, not quite, just goes under, and do you know where your pet pees every time. have fun spraying down the whole yard. yuk.. stick to real grass. maintain your spots, easier then the urine clean up you will be doing otherwise.

lie? how bout learning how to read - where did i say anything about me NOT getting tickets???? i have more then my share, but i'm not soooo ignorant to know i wasn't doing something wrong. and cry me a river that driving is a way of life - i ship horses all over the u.s. .... i'm not sure what you think i'm lying about, but it sounds like your digging for something to hang on to. not sure why your taking it so personal BUT, the way people drive with complete lack of any type of awareness to others, and the laws posted is overwhelming. We can all agree that some tickets are petty but if your are driving within a reasonable limit and not running lights and stop signs then you have nothing to worry about. FACT : i got a speeding ticket for 70mph on the 5. but because i had a little lawn mower trailer on it was 15 over and cost me $400.00. for everybody without a trailer it was 5mph over. it sucked but i broke a posted law, and i should have known better. i'm not the one cry'n

whatever - the way people drive in the town, i hope the increase tickets by 150%. This town has a problem with thinking each of their own time is more then the next persons. within 2 miles of my home, i see more violations in EVERY trip, then any other 10 mile trip in all other towns i have lived. If your are driving proper, you have no worries of a ticket. I'm not saying i drive the speed limit, but i know when i am, that i could result in a ticket. Grow up people - don't worry, we will be socialist before long anyway : (

my all serious stance on cops killing is mixed - the mental toll of taking a life is alot to deal with and they will be convicted in other ways then courts - on this particular case (and i dont know all the details) but as simple as i can put it, me personally, if he was in my driveway - the bullets would have rained. we all know as in all jobs there r people good at what they do and ones not so good - human error is in our nature, and i know when i get scared, i gets crazy - and i am scared of knives. i too enjoy a debate but i have to go get my daughter. thanks kermitsio

im not trying to be argumentative cause we all have different opinions on maintaining the balances of good and bad (or even what we think is good or bad) but if you go to you tube there are tons of videos that prove otherwise. the will to fight can be hard to stop. the evidence states that the man got shoot when he charged them with the knife - so i guess the taser didnt work

and they are also trained not to tase them to death either, they are trained to hit in intervals that wont kill - if they go around tasing people to death, that non lethal weapon will be banded. now that would make things better for us wouldnt it? i tell it simple - if he was wheeling a knife in any crazy fashion in the area of me or my family, i would shoot his sorry butt too.

kill happy cops? come on - how bout i run around the block (i have asthma, so its like running for miles) then i run up on your mom and dad with a knife. its still lethal, what should they do when he gets to them with the knife? "hug em" come on, you all sound suspect yourselves.
