If you listen to Nick Lane in "Bad Dreams", he suggests that the cortexifaners were conditioned to not remember, suggesting that they are like sleeper agents.
(The spacial reasoning blocks in "Subject 13" also scream the same thing reminding us of "Project Christmas" and Alias' Sydney Bristow)

However, P and W have given us another answer with "Trauma" leading us to believe that the abusive time with her step father may have caused her to block certain things out. IMO, I think both are correct, but that there is also another reason...I think that they may have mixed and lost memories from another timeline/universe and so along with the other two things, I also think there are things remembered that also don't make sense-things that seem like they should connect to other things, and/or haven't come to fruition yet.

I like viral marketing and/or ARG's because sometimes it adds information to the film/show...just little extras. Especially Bad Robot's (The LOST Experience was pretty interesting IMO).

Yeah, 'I have to go bakc!" -but a dream state is so similar to what the FS is, that I just can't wait!!!!!!

(In "Jacksonville" When Olivia finds her three yr old self in a forest, there is a noise that is so much like the smoke monster...I just love little similarities like that)

It's a third alterations, but it's probably the original, "before" a reset-split and multiple mutations occur.

This Olivia harbors the traits of both of ours and all the characters are alive at what would seem to be a future date, as they look older, but technically, that Olivia has already died and her death probably resulted in Peter attempting to escape this fate from happening agian, but alas it could now not happen just once again, but twice---and then what if current Peter can time travel (physical or consciencelyy) to back then for answers?!! Or if all the character can remember this other past reality?!!

VSC's tracks "Last Man in Space" and "Seven Suns (setting)" also hints that Peter could die, but I think his body could....remember that this whole thing with William Bell is proof that death may not be permanent---that soul energy can be transfered to another vessel......Peter could go and live inside another version of himself or someone else---In White Tulip it was alluded that Peter may not get deja vu because he is 'not on track with his own destiny'---I am thinking Peter may be "designed" to be Desmond esque ( which is also like A. Peck)
---he might be able to replace/reset himself in space time!

The date on one older set pic suggests 2021 -as there is also to be another older version of another character. I think they will show us another universe, but it may no longer exist NOW, because the machine essentually created this two instead. (Brown Betty -->Peter steals the heart and makes it two) "6B"--two sides to a coin = mitosis of the universe-->two Olivia's that use to be one. (and everyone else who has a double) So IMo this universe that existed to their 2021--may no longer so they wouldn't show us it again for a while...however they could still have 3rd universe people amongst us in the two universes...the Observers and John Mosley could be proof of this already.

I think whatever we see might be sad, but I don't think it's completely the end of anything or any body, but rather we may come to know how things have transformed.

They have been playing too much with soul energy IMO. I would expect that "soul energy" and it's understandings probably lie with the technology of the First People and that might be important.

I think that's a good thing to keep in mind, because it sure seemed like Bell isn't completely gone, but rather he found a way to share Olivia's body with out having her body die!

Notice the sheep again! -First FRINGE case given as part of Viral marketing Pattern designing sheep--->extinction of Sheep "Immortality", Dick's novel reference about feelings "Do Shapeshifters/Androids DREAM of Electric Sheep" --->count sheep before we fall asleep and 'dream'---->Biblical Shepherd responsible for saving his sheep = important role of 'survival')

Other things: Red Olivia has cut her hair (mirrors the other pics some of us have seen), Olivia's face is "blurred and waving" as if she would be on a monitor (frequency/transmission) in scenes showing the machine = 'Peter THINKS of her'..., the 'dots' like in the glyph art moves through the title letters (IMO representation of a "soul"),

I def think both machines turn on, because this is what happens in the prequel comics with the time machines...they trigger each other through space and time.

Well first there most likely originally was only one machine (one original timeline--time travel left tech in the new universe) --but now there are two--so the results could be different. (variation/manifestation/transfromation/alteration/mutation = variation in species: evolution -law of averages)

Second, we don't know if Sam is telling the whole truth, or has his own agenda.

Third, Red Olivia stole a machine part which could be vital to the blue's functionality, thus it could "malfunction".

We now know that Death isn't always the end of anything as things can mutate into new things (spirituallity/theology/philosophy -reincarnate =-"transform") William Bell's essence/memory/conscience LIVES beyond the corporeal world---so there could be a convergence (all that rise must converge), or that "cease" to exist may only pertain to any one person, AS THEY ARE, at any one time...
