Hello.
I really should start to update this blog again.
The French influence - well I might be wrong but there are certain things in the dynamic of the step (like amboité or pas tombé) which I did not saw much in the dances by Turocy but are demanded by French teachers i have experience with (Massin, Denieau, Yepes). It is in impulses, bit hard to explain for me.

Hello Matt,
Firstly let me express my deep admiration for the work you are doing for us all at baroquedance.info! Finally I can have a word with you. :o)

Lecture was mostly for people who never heard about baroque dance so ot was pretty basic stuff... Pictures on slides 8 and 9 are from baroque theatre which survived along with complete set of costumes and stage machinery at the castle of Cesky Krumlov. This theatre is absolutely unique and is on the UNESCO heritage list (along with the castle itself). Check http://www.castle.ckrumlov....

Performance on slide 8 is Entreé de Apollon danced by I. Zukov from Czech National Ballet and on the slide 9 it is Giuione Piacata (if I remember well) - baroque opera by J. J. Fux.

O bože. Ta tvoje budova. To je stejně hnusný jako chemie na University of Glasgow. Ale tohle by se aspoň dalo zbourat. Budovu chemie v Glasgov ne. Tu naprojektoval šílený architekt který o chemii věděj jenom že "patláma, patláma, BUM!" jako vojenský objekt odolnosti II. To znamená že když na jedno křídlo spadne tunová bomba tak ve druhém křídle pravděpodobně nic nezaznamenají.

Hele, zauvažoval bych nad změnou barevného schématu. Tohle bílé písmo na černém pozadí dost unavuje oči. Je příliš kontrastní.
