Most of these people do not have a voice and depend on others to speak up. Shameful Ontario!

Re: The Power Of Leverage

I think when billionaires leverage their time they do it to save time. They do not use every single second to be productive but rather on every task at hand they may give themselves 100%. When they have their slob days or their tv days or their family days or fun days they will also do it 100%. It may not even be by days but rather scheduled times.

Here is a piece of information that I heard from a very wealthy person....the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is that a billionaire will review their goals 3 times a day rather than 2. Most people don't even have goals. Interesting.

Re: Getting your site and your posts indexed within 24 hours.

I went to your ping list and followed your instructions. My question would be that in knowing this why would you belong to a tribe then if you thought it was harmful to you. I think that as Karin says it is not quite as black and white. If you look at tome very successful blogs they have all kinds of back links coming and going. If you go into a local community you will find that that because the town may be somewhat smaller more of them actually meet face to face so then become avid readers of certain people's blogs with sharing and guest writing and back linking. Some then become very successful blogs in terms of PR rankings.

Re: Wisdom from a loser

Interesting concept the law of balance. One little comment before however in response to something you said in the video...selfishness: everything we do is selfish

I have had the opportunity of doing some work with Cara-Rose Brown Bouncing Back -who is part of the group launching this new book next week ... Thriving in Changing Times featuring over 50 authors
who are top-professionals from all around the world, including Dr. Wayne Dyer, John Assaraf, Brian Tracy and David Riklan. She does a lot of work around the Laws of the Universe. One of them being the law of balance. She can explain it better than I can. This law being that everything including human qualities or traits are good and bad equally. Take any word for example "selfish" and make a list of all the "negative" benefits it brings and then on the flip make an equally long list of all the "positive" benefits it brings. When you can see the balance in it the trait or word will no longer have any power over you in regards to judgement. You will be able to embrace the selfishness in you good and bad and celebrate that amazing quality.
Part of that process in cracking that open would be to look at all the times in your life when someone was selfish to you....look for the gift in it (the positive benefit..as in what did you learn or how did it make you grow) Where in your life were you selfish to anther and do the same thing.
Know that everyone who you let into your life good and bad has a gift for you. What you perceive as the absolute worst person experience often brings the most important gift of all that brings you to the next level of your development.
Not sure if I gave this justice...but to try and sum it up in regards to your question..most people come to the table with good will. What I would harbour to suggest here is there is always bad will there too as the universe will always be there to push you forward. In your choosing then pick those who you like the best to hang with or to enter your life. The good and bad will be there but at least you will be amongst friends.LOL

Re: Written Wednesday – Why We Include People in Our Lives

I tis interesting to take note of how we grow and refine ourselves over the seasons. I believe that as we become more intentional in our choices our potential for exponential growth also opens up.Sometimes we are lucky to get these insights early on. Practicing that 30 day detox has certainly been beneficial to you.
As you go to the next level as there always is a next level, redefining your relationship to the relationships that molded you as a child will certainly be interesting as you come to better know yourself in the process.

Re: Secret Weapons, 37Signals, and Social Media Altitude

Thanks Chris...there are quite a few things that are stumbling me. If you want feedback here goes..if you want to use this for either of the 3 things you listed I think you need to go back and re-write it with very strict editing 2 or 3 more times. It is not clear to me what was the purpose of this post. What was your objective? Be careful not to patronize or be too preachy. You need to focus a little on hooking the brain and engaging your reader. We are often very fear focused. Of course this is couched in bureaucratic jargon. I beleive to do business you need to have an exchange of sorts with individuals and it starts with a social interaction. Social media is just another way of being social. Human beings are social beings by nature. They will always find ways of connecting for transaction. Your categories describe how certain departments may choose to use it but behind the departments lay people who will also be social just in passing so may cross over into other departments as well.
I suppose with new tools businesses have to see where they want to invest their resources. Initially internet access was very limited but now most businesses can't exist without it. I am sure that the same will come to be as we all get used to what these new tools can do for us.
