Thinking that moving the computer to the living room and/or installing the key logger is no help when everyone has the internet on their phone.
Thinking that part of monitoring (to whatever extent) is to protect the kids from predators and creeps out there.

What about installing the key logger and *telling* the kids it is there for both your peace of mind and their protection?

With Shaw's visibly hurting (have you noticed reduced meat cases?) and Stop and Shop seldom crowded - it is going to be hard to convince anyone that the area needs another grocery story.
There is a reason that the IGA closed (went out of business).

Thanks for sharing these two things we can each do, each day, to make the world and our companies better places to be, to live, to work in.

Paraphrasing:
1. Support and patronize and promote companies that believe (demonstrate, walk the talk) that relationships matter.
2. Help your colleagues (by modeling the behavior) to craft each interaction to show that building kind, caring relationships is every bit as important as building revenue.

So the part of Birmingham that we might want to forget, but shouldn't -- includes the civil rights era bombing of a church when four little girls died.

Birmingham, on the other hand, has a strong history of positive urban planning...so that augers well for the Green Building Focus. Plus Willie Mays was born right outside of the city and played for the Birmingham Black Barons.

At least you seem to have sun. I love that I can lie in the hammock and read or doze in the shade. But not so good for growing tomatoes.
