I agree that creativity isn't bound to tools.

but I do think that the right tools can enable creativity. a few months ago, if you would have asked my friends whether I was a creative person they would have responded with laughter. though I considered myself to be creative, I was more of a consumer than a producer.

that all changed the moment I got my iPhone. all of a sudden I had this tool that made it easy for me to take pictures, process them and share them with others. I wasn't bothered by the crappy cam and the slow shutter speed at all. in fact I love the limitations because suddenly it's no more about megapixels, but about the story behind the shot.

in my case my iphoneography work also introduced me to a lot of cool & creative heads (like valerie) from all over the world.

at the end I think the key is whether you can translate your vision into something, that enables others to take part in the story you want to tell.

Hello Fomu, Will, Wilfred, Jakob, Gregory and David,

First of all: Thank you for all you wonderful and encouraging comments! It's crazy what happened last year. The first few exhibitions, a few interviews and most of all getting to know a lot of new and interesting people! Words can't describe how much I appreciate all of this.

I tried using a Nikon D300, but after a few months I decided to end that experiment. I don't know why, but DSLR's and myself don't get along very well. I love the gear itself, but wasn't able to produce anything worth showing. I've gotten to know the iPhone very well, and I've gotten to a point where I don't actually see the the camera, but it sees what I see. Sounds strange, but there is no other way for me to put it :)

Anyway, thanks once more and I hope to catch all of you online or at an exhibition near you.

Hi Thomas. Thanks a lot for your hard work and for touching a few legal topics of street photography.

In Switzerland (I live here), and I guess in many other countries as well, this is a rather delicate issue and mostly doesn't play well with 'true' street photography.

You've shoot all over the world, so I'm wondering whether people react differently in other countries?

I love the lyrics and vocals a lot, the audio mix is very good but I prefer the edgy quality you have on the video. I would love to hear something like half way between this mix and the video. Good luck and keep up the work. Oh yeah, I would consider quitting my day job pretty soon based on what I am hearing.....

Veterans here with no compensation line up at the door to get a chance to appeal denials, leave with no interview to live under bridges and in abandoned buildings. Supposedly 1-3 homeless are veterans here in the west coast. I dunno, it is a lot of them. I am a disabled veteran denied benefits and I am lucky to have a roof, cannot afford heat though. I refuse to get in line in front of homeless vets.
