I was in the bookstore this weekend and saw several magazines (Time and The Economist are the ones I remember, but there were others) with cover shots of Obama, more or less crowning him. Well gee, thanks magazines, but maybe WE could pick our candidate, rather than the media? Christ.

First, there's the accusation that anyone who didn't see what was so high-larious is "humorless" or a "professional victim." Then there's the lofty "I respect all differences" bit (belied, of course, by the gendered smears up higher in the post) followed by "identity politics is stupid."
