The fact that you posted an excurpt from the New York Times, just validates for me that you are reading only one side of the story. I would think that the thousands, and yes, I do mean thousands, of parents whose daughters lives have been turned upside down since the vaccine with reactions that have caused paralysis, seizures, Guillian-Barre Syndrome, Pancreatitis and even DEATH to name a FEW...would consider the side effects a little stronger than "Pesky". If you want to see the truth, go to "the truth about Gardasil" in google and you will be amazed at the stories. (read some of the testimonials) The clincher here is that Merck has invented the perfect vaccine to not only cause such terrible effects in so many bright, vibrant, intellegent and lively young girls, and NOTHING can connect the two...therefore, the doctor's will not report them to VAERS. (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) However, many parents, myself included, have reported it to them ourselves, and believe me, my friend, there are thousands upon thousands!! The real shame is that these once perfectly healthy girls all now rely on even more pharmaceutical products just to get through the day! How convenient is that? hmmm more profit?
I don't mean to go off on you, Dear...It has just been a very stressful several months with a very sick kid...and I can't tell her when she will stop vomiting...I can't tell her when she will feel normal again. I am a mom...I am suppose to have those answers!!!! Please read up on this...I find you to be a very intellegent person and I truly think that you could be an advocate for those in your area that believe the lie....Merck's Slogan...One Less...Unfortunately it is way more litteral than anyone knows!!!

Well hello a_voc! I see you are still on the old disscussion board! Good for you! Sorry I haven't responded much. My daughter is still pretty sick from the Gardasil vaccine and I spend most of my free computer time trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with her since every test and procedeure that they have done continues to show "normal"! I don't really find it to be normal to vomit after every meal! Plus every doctor that you mention your suspicions to shun you from that point on! It's been a frustrating road, my friend! Now to answer your comment, I actually HAVE the Catholic Bible with the missing books, it's just not in my possession...I loaned it to a friend.
And I haven't actually had much time to delve into the Bible other than searching for emotional support here lately!

Maybe I just have a wicked sense of humor, but do you ever get the urge to call your friend and say, "Whatever you do, DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE TODAY!" and then hang up. If they remember that vividly, well, I just couldn't help myself...at least once...just once!! lol I believe that I was gifted as a child, but truly believe that I was born into the wrong family for that kind of thing. If you are made to feel like a lunitic, you have a tendacy to supress it until its almost gone...I only have those feelings if something really bad is going to happen to one of my children...and they LISTEN!! They learned from experience.

Yes I did really enjoy it. As a matter of fact I saved it to my documents and printed it out to send to a friend of mine in prison!! lol...kinda ironic considering your next response...which made me laugh! He says help the needy..not the freeloader, the imprisioned, not murderers, just ones that made stupid mistakes, kids, young adults that never really knew love or kindness their whole lives, and as far as the sick, well, I certainly avoid those that are contagous! But my daughter had to stay in the hospital for a week recently, and it totally changed her attitude when her friend came to spend the day. It gets very boring in those places, so I have decided to maybe visit the Childrens Hospital, bring them things to make, coloring pages...simple, cheap, but would mean the world to them!! Not for self glory!! But because I just simply remember how it was. And I can't even imagine holidays stuck in there.

My best friend of 35 years (telling on my age, but we were real young when we met!! lol) is Catholic. I remember going to caticizm and church when we were young. It really did not hold my attention. I respect the religion, but for me personally, I like a little more personal relationships. I actually haven't gone to "church" in a good while. I am a Christian, and religion kind of turns me off...I can't tell you how sick it made me to drive all the way across town to attend a womens Bible class, and all they did was gossip about other members!! I let them know in a nice way, why I was leaving early. I'm sure they talked about me when I left. The sad thing is that those are the kind that drive others away from God...unfortunately, they will be the ones that He says, "I knew you not" I can only pray for them.
So you have had some pretty detailed discussions with another fellow poster I see! lol... That's funny. But I am glad that I came here...and that I met you! I really appreciate your input and your comical edge! Have you ever looked at a dream interpretation book. They can be pretty interesting. And pretty true at times...I have one that I refer to when it is a really weird dream. But then again, sometimes I say, "STUPID BOOK!" LOL

Don't listen to violetta, I don't think she realizes how young you are. Your "feelings" are what is referred to as a sixth sense. Google it, you will find many out there just like you. I had it when I was young, and others making fun made me supress it...now I wish I would have learned to utilize it! I do still get a weird feeling sometimes when my kids go off to do something, and it is always right. My son, who is 25, to this day, if I have a bad feeling about his not going somewhere, he won't go. He went against it before and was in a car wreck one time, and then got arrested the other time because the guy he was with had a pound of pot in his trunk...the whole car went to jail, even though the driver was the only one that knew about it. Listen to that voice...it could save your life some day! Or the life of another!

So you don't believe in God? Do you believe that there is good and evil? I have seen the worst kind of evil become the best testimonials for God...I used to work in a Nursing Home. I can't tell you how many talked about a light...one old man told me to turn that light off, it's too bright!! He was in his room, in bed, at 10pm, with no lights on. There was only a dim light from the hallway. I had just come in to make sure his television was turned off because he always left it on. He passed within an hour. He loved to read his Bible when he was able to do so. I pray that you open your heart and let God reveal his truth. He loves you! No dissappointments there!

You have no need to be scared if you are saved!! The rapture will take God's children out of the tragedies, those that are left will have to figure it out. Many will find the Bibles that are left, they will still have time, but they will have to deal with the horrors before they get to their final rewards! It will just be very difficult for them. Teach your children in the way of the Lord, have Bible study at the dinner table, have them memorize scriptures to earn privledges for the television or video game. Hey, they will hate it, but it WILL sink in! Keep your chin up...that way your eyes will always be in the right direction!

How is all of that going to happen with so much corruption, perversion, greed, selfishness, evilness and hatred in human kind on this earth? You sound like someone that has a lot of love in your heart...utilize it, use it for God...and then you will be in that place. It may not be in 2012, it may be tomorrow, so don't delay!

We ALL sin and come short of the Glory of God. The Bible says that no one is perfect, and all we have to do is ask for forgiveness. He does want us to ask for forgiveness. Otherwise a backslider would have no chance. Sure, I live every day to do what is right in His eyes, but occasionally someone pulls out in front of me on a busy street....so therefore, I ask for forgiveness for the words that sometimes slip out of my mouth. It is called being human. He does want us to conquer ourselves, but sometimes that takes a lifetime...each day has new challenges.

Not if you ask Jesus to come into your heart and accept Him as your personal Savior! You will live for eternity in the most wonderful way imaginable! Read the book of Roman, it has many parables that will tell you what to pray. And then keep on reading from there. The Words in red are the best ones! He loves you and wants you to be there with Him!!!!!!

hmmmmm....what made him muslim? Was it the 7 heads and 10 horns? Or because he looked like a leapord but had bear's feet and a lions mouth? I'm guessing by the time frame that you've done a little more reading and have come to a different conclusion.

Do you know how many people thought Bush was the next anti-christ? lol....How narcissistic are Americans to believe that the anti-christ will even be an American? Jesus was a Jew, so just think about that for a minute or two.
I don't think too highly of Politics OR Religion. To me, they both, in most cases, represent a place one has in society. In the Religious or Policical world, lists are made of people who profess to be part with a certain group or association. The name on these lists come and go through time. They do not hold a place in eternity. On the contrary, Christianity involves a relationship with an individual. We must come to know Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Through Him we are brought to God, our Father. Our names are written in the book of Life. We are children of God, part of his family. We are promised eternal life, spent with God and our Lord, Jesus, on a new earth where righteousness will prevail. (Revalation 3:5, 22:19.) I am looking so forward to living There!!! To have a life of no worry, no fear, no anger, no sadness, no pain, no satan...no problems!! The way he intended it to be from the beginning! I love my life on this earth, don't get me wrong, I am blessed, but I see too much here that breaks my heart.

I think that all of the political outrage is merely a smoke screen created by satan himself to cause fear in all that you just mentioned, and keep people's eyes off the truth. God! It reminds me of an old Chinese Proverb...when a wise man points at the stars, only a fool looks at his finger! The Bible says that we are to pray for our leaders....when there is outrage and fear, there is no prayer....with no prayer, there is no chance of any president doing any good!

Well, Mathew 24 is actually contradicting the predictions of man...there is no way for man to know as Jesus says in his own words. That's kind of the point. The key that makes me believe we are closer than all others who believed that they were living in the last days are a few things. First it states in the Bible that all will hear the Word before the Father destroys the earth. There are missionaries in every rain forest and outskirt that has never even seen any man other than within their own tribes, They are being taught about Jesus...thus all will know.
Of course there has been evilness and natural disasters throughout the last 2000 years, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves, famine and of course war. These have always been the reason people thought they were in THE time. But if you read about the first ending, during Noah's time there was so much perversion, homosexuality, prostitution, illness, drunkedness...you name it. And we are now passing laws that allow same sex marriage, every song on my daughter's favorite radio station sings of nothing but sex and partying, there are uncurable deseases everywhere. A little simaliar if you ask me. But there is still the Anti Christ. I don't know how that will play out. In Mathew 24:24 He says that they will do wonderful miracles, so that if it were possible, even God's chosen ones would be decieved. That is the premise, many believe that Jesus was a prophet, not Christ, and that the Anti Christ will BE Christ. I haven't seen anyone here claiming to be Christ, unless you count David Koresh from the Branch Davidian, and that other whacko, Jones is all that I can remember, he got all those people to drink that poison koolaide. But are we Americans being narcisistic believing that these things will happen here? When in fact, Jesus if from Jereselum? The Jews are his people...not us, however, when he came and died, it was for us all. But there is still the mark of the beast. I believe that isn't far away because of the identity theft crisis. We will be expected to have a bar code tatood on either our hands or forehead. It is my belief that this will be their reasoning for it anyway. It has yet to come in this country, but has already began in other countries. It is the mark of the beast. I will starve before I take this tatoo. And I probably will. Because nothing will be able to be purchased without this identification.
As far at the next scripture about the master of the house knowing the hour of the thief, it is basically saying that if we knew the hour of our demise, and that isn't necessarily the end of the world, then you could wait until the last minute to get saved. This is a warning to accept Christ as your personal Savior, believe in Him and live your life as if He were coming today. Help others, feed the needy, visit the sick and imprisioned, offer shelter to the homeless. So, yes, you grasped that one correctly for the most part.
And as far as Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away....I believe that he is referring to the chances of living on Heaven or earth will be gone. Because he says just before that, Then at last this age will come to a close. I am glad that you are curious...it means that you are open to hear Him in your heart! He will speak to you and bless you abundantly. When you see that stranded motorist and you get the urge to stop....stop. The urge is there for a reason. (of course that is excluding the ones with blood on their shirts and an axe in their back pocket...lol)

I actually came across a Bible that someone had thrown away. It had books within it that I had never seen. Judith, Wisdom, Macafee and another that I cannot remember. I approached my pastor and he kind of laughed stating that they were removed for a reason..I brought up the above scriptures and he still believed that it was okay that these books were taken out of the Bible. I could understand Macafee, it was more historical, but Judith and Wisdom were great books that had a lot to add...I lost my faith in that pastor and stopped going to that church after that day. But if you want to know the predictions of Jesus Christ, read all of Mathew 24. He Himself, says what Revelations says, without the confusion. And according to His Word, it is close. It doesn't matter when MAN predicts the end...the truth of the matter is that you better be living your life according to God's will. You don't have to change your personality...he made you WHO YOU ARE for a reason. He just wants a relationship with you...just as any parent wants a relationship with their child. He is AWESOME and will bless you abundantly! I am living proof!!
