I appreciate P. Goodman's warning to get banking right and make our money part of a true democracy. The long lists of right and wrong, however, not helpful IMO.

The single right/wrong difference is for money to be created, distributed (and its value protected) by duly elected government, and nevermore created as credit by banks. The Public Bank movement can make a giant stride in the right direction if we capitalize with bonds and revenues sufficient for lending and never fall into 'fractional reserve lending'.

right! the new Public Bank should not create money upon lending, like the private banks do. Public Banks, done right, could be a giant step toward Public Money, a necessary pillar of true democracy.

I too wonder what course Mr Reich is so eager to get this nation and the world back onto. Mr T. would continue to privilege the wealthy over the workers, right? and white people over people of color? and corporate rights over human rights, even rights of future generations? no big change there. Ah! Is the problem that he diverges from the warpath with Russia? But he's still playing king-on-the-mountain, insisting US must dominate the world. Please, what is the wonderful course we must get back to?

And this report helped define my disagreements with sibs' beliefs: no change is a goal for them, Repub's cave to O, Fox is middle, facing climate change is a control strategy. fascinating.

2. the big question I need to know: how do 3 groups react to the concept of CORRUPTION? Money in politics. wishing for another common point here.

3. Is there a typo? 100% Republicans fall into three groups - 25% Moderate, 33% Tea Party, and "a fifth" Evangelicals? Judging from intro remarks, might be 2/5, or about 42%.

WE need to inform our family and friends and get them to raise their voices with us NOW. June is the heat of the battle.

Politicians CAN'T PROTECT US from insurance companies, UNLESS WE CAN PROTECT THEM at election time. Holler louder!

Let's call our Senators and the Pres. They can't give us any leadership for single payer until they figure enough people understand it. They must hear from MILLIONS of us.

They'll need the people's protection from insurance companies' wrath at election time. Are we big and strong enough?
