This *completely* contradicts my experience on the Kindle (and also that of others I have spoken with. I read noticeably faster on the Kindle than I do print. (See, comments!)

Hey, just noticed this. I totally agree. I really think background audio for user-selected apps would cover the “multi-tasking” needs of most people, myself included. This is a pretty slick solution, and I guess a few other streaming audio apps do the same thing (which I wasn’t aware of). I think (hope) the time may come when there is a more official solution to this, but we shall see. This definitely does the trick for now.

Thanks man. It's just the iPhone 3GS run through Camerabag. If you
play with pointing the iPhone at the sun you can get some cool looks
sometimes.

Absolutely. It's the whole package. (The way the camera shutter icon
rotates when going into landscape mode is one of my favorite of these
little details.)

I’ve been playing with the same combo. Both are great apps. I like
Best Camera a lot, and Camera Bag is the old standby and still one of
my favs. I just rearranged my phone to have a whole screen of photo
apps, so I may have a problem.
