I normally use Audacity to record the show itself, but GarageBand to record the music since GarageBand does better with the vocal changes than Audacity. I record on my Mac Mini because it's my quietest PC.

I bought this simple mic. It works pretty well, though pics up a lot of ambient noise.

I initially thought this would be some kind of anti-Mac commercial, and that would be the "odd" thing.

I also love the inaccurate redundancy in "PC Computers only," which is saying "personal computer computers only." And Macs are PCs, too!

Topify is doing some of this in a great way. After setting up Topify, I still get my Twitter DMs through my email, but now I can reply to those emails and it sends the DM to that person!

Actually, you're misunderstanding that feature. If I'm following John but not Alex, and John tweets "@Alex …" I will not see it if I enable that filter ("Show me only @replies to the people I'm following"), but I will see it if I disable that filter. That feature had nothing to do with replies to me.

Oops! I just realized that I misunderstood the issue in the first place! I don't mind Twitter doing this because I had already enabled that filter so I would see others' @replies to people I wasn't also following.

There's a big, international grocery store near me, and they sell a bunch of international cream sodas that I want to try sometime. If I do, perhaps I could write a guest review for you.

I really thought the movie borrowed too much from other movies, had weak dialog, pointless characters, too many plot and logic holes, and WAY too much sex. It's too bad people may get the idea this is a "kids" movie since it's based on toys, but it's only for those "kids" who grew up with Transformers and are now adults.

I liked how they played with history, and the soundtrack was amazing (Steven Jablonsky is one of my favorite composers).

It's a good thing my ticket was free, because I wouldn't have been happy to pay to see this movie—it wouldn't have been worth it.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion, Peggy. Actually, someone else had suggested the same thing, which we realized was much better for us to do, just like you also said. So that&#039s exactly what we did in our latest Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen initial reactions. We said upfront (and mention in the shownotes), that our discussion and shownotes would contain spoilers. Just like you and our other listener said, this certainly opened up the conversation for us to discuss aspects we otherwise wouldn&#039t be able to discuss. However, we really can&#039t do a full episode until the movie is on DVD.

I think this is cheap of Microsoft instead of holding a large launch event and give away free copies of software to everyone. However, I applied anyway. :)

I suggest marching seven times around the Windows 7 disc and then blowing a trumpet on the seventh time.
