The reason I used quotation marks around the work accidental is because that is a quote from the police department. They determined that the incident was "accidental." I was not implying anything, I was just reporting what the police said. Thanks for your comment.

Chuck: You are indeed right. What I meant to say was Seattle Animal Control, which is located on 15th Ave. W. in Seattle. Hello all,
This is the editor of the Redmond Reporter.

While I appreciate your interest in this highly talked about story and the the many comments, I would like to remind everybody about the rules.

First of all, let's keep it civil and topic, which means keeping the kids out of it. This story is about the dismissal of a cheer coach, let's keep the comments about that, not about this kid or that kid. Remember those kids can see this blog too.

If it's not clear, I will make it clear: Calling out minors in this blog is not allowed. Anyone who does, will be removed.

The point of this blog is to create a forum of ideas and discussion, not to attack each other and our neighbor's families. Let's act like adults and not personally attack each other. This blog is starting to sound like a bunch of bickering kids rather than mature adults discussing an important community story.

Please, please keep it civil, stay on topic and don't attack minors, especially with their full name. If you don't follow the rules you will be removed. The rules are clearly stated.

This is not an attack blog (haven't we had enough of the negativity with election ads). This is a discussion blog.
