Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to implement REST with the CCC project. Since there's a filter on all the routes except for the login page that checks for authentication, does this mean that you need to be authenticated to access the REST interfaces that you access? I'm unclear on how that works. For example, if I were to provide an interface to access my schedule, what would be the strategy for authentication? Or should the filter be changed to check for the type of format that is requested?

For the implementation of UUID are we supposed to write code to generate a UUID or can we use external libraries?

I found the problem. I included a require user.rb in the Finder class. I guess I don't need to do that?

Hi,

No, I have one of each of those. Also, it seems to work outside of the test. I played around with the tests and noticed when I remove the finders_test.rb file, the problem goes away. I can't figure out why that is though.

I'm seeing one weird thing now though. In the user's test: u.errors.on(:email) is returning two of the same errors in an array (<["can't be blank", "can't be blank"]>) instead of one error. However, when I try the same code in the script/console, it correctly returns only the one error. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any ideas on why it's happening?

In test_1020_particular_users_children the children are saved before the User is set on the Child. The user_id has a not null constraint on it so I get a sql error complaining about this. Should the User be set on the Child before saving it?
