I was able to load it on a Chromebook, but I had to force Chrome to emulate touch in the Chrome dev tools. Even then, the touch points in the browser weren't a 1 to 1 mapping with the icons on the Android Auto screen. Certainly this use case isn't a priority (nor can I blame them).

It does work pretty well in the car, given how unofficial this app is. The touch issues I mentioned in Chrome don't happen in my Model 3. The input latency could be better, but it's not a deal breaker. Setting it up at the beginning of each drive is a slight hassle (gotta enable Wifi after putting the car in drive, manually connect to the phone's hotspot, type in the hotspot password since Tesla doesn't seem to remember mine, open the browser, and navigate to a website hosted by the phone), but I don't see how it could be improved without Tesla improving things on their end. It all makes sense why it has to be like this, but I'll likely only use this on longer trips. Still, it's super impressive and an easy recommendation for Android + Tesla owners.

Does it receive HD radio broadcasts? Since there is no AM radio, I'm most interested in if the AM channels that also broadcast in HD radio are picked up by the car. TuneIn will work for most things, but there are some programs (sports for example) that are blacked out from TuneIn.

At 17 seconds in, it looks like there's two levels of brakelights. Pressure sensitive or maybe the regenerative brakes vs brake pads? I'm not sure if that's typical of Teslas on the road today though so this might be business as usual.
