I'm going out on a limb on The Daily here, Gary. It's a little too "Jim Cramer-ish" for my taste; and the audio effects interrupt some of your monologue....but, you're worth $60mil more than I am, so you do what comes natural.... Who do you think is vying for the Amateur Sport's Network? Couldn't agree more. I think you should direct your message towards athletes too. We (STL) are trying to re-sign Albert Pujols, and it would be nice if the owners, and players, would just put down their "negotiating faces" and give a heart felt thank you to the fans for even allowing a $300 Million contract to be considered.

Good point. I can see the "and" principle over the "either, or" mentality. However, I think your initial message about the internet being a "game changer" reads more inspirational to those of us tired of the 'crap' handed out by the "old Vanguard" . The more hype over media content, and the traditional channels, the less attention for meaningful, software solutions online. Keep up the good work wherever you find yourself - I still believe. ;-)

I feel "transparency" suggests there is still a lens; which indicates perception is still a factor. I think with transparency there is still a great need for responsibility on both sides of the 'lens'...what seems 'nice' and what seems 'naughty' is open for debate based upon moral paradigms....and, sometimes it's simply none of our business (i.e. Tiger Woods).

ooooh! What about a virtual 'corporate punching bag' to address customer expectation? Let's face it, verbally abusing a customer service rep because there's nothing they can do is getting old....'Corporate' could offer a 'punch our lights out' iPhone App that could alleviate some of the frustration experienced whilst calling in!

How do you see the landscape of 'consumer expectation' vs profit margin changing? I think traditionally businesses expected to see there financial projections grow steadily over months/quarters as a sign of positive, steady growth....I wonder if you might see more volatility in financial statements...meaning, you might expect to lose 6month (due to consumer expect.), but the following 6months you experience a growth of monumental proportions; more than covering your initial loss....hmmmm.

Words of wisdom. You seemed to have matured very early in your business dealings, and have a great relationship with your father. I was not so fortunate in my family business....I was curious if there were ever any moments of extreme frustration that jeopardized your future in your father's company? My frustration cost me a position in my Great Grandfather's business, but I feel my departure preserved my relationship with my father.

Maybe I'm missing the point; I appreciate your enthusiasm and insight, but wonder if 'chasing trends' is all good advice....If there is a trend emerging that fits your profile...your DNA, then yes, chase it! But, I think there could be disaster out there waiting if you simply chase something because it's 'trendy'...Again, may be missing your point, but I felt a little devil's advocate appropriate...I still love ya; hope to work with you soon!

Great show - loved the Chicken & Apples impromptu! It really demonstrates the genuineness of your character. Congrats on the re-charge! I am not the enologist you are, but with "a small part of you", along with my mother's own love for fermented grapes, I am learning TONS!
