My absolute favorite bit of his is Olive Garden Review , but I have been giggling on and of for days now after rediscovering Fischer-Price Porn . . . seeing those little Fischer-Price pieces wiggling all over each other . . . so damn beautiful (and no, the Dear God Damn Diary portion of the archives isn't done yet - sorry! - but I couldn't resist posting about those little wiggly dudes).

ouch! having that happen to books that mean so much to you...blech! it's one thing when the original author mucks up subsequent books - it can be argued that the story is theirs to muck up - but when a new author comes in and doesn't get the characters and tone right...blech!

Frustration and anger aside for a moment, you should feel proud for still believing that it's possible some of our leaders would have our best interests at heart.

Just be careful of who (and what) you put that faith in, and remember this feeling! Based on his voting record in Congress, Obama wasn't the hope and change guy he claimed to be (voting for the Wall St. bailout, FISA Amendment, and his running mate voted for the Patriot Act).

Personally, I think it's great you still have such optimism about some politicians and the intelligence to realize when you've been duped. Now I just hope you're able to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and find a new way!
