I keep seeing this everywhere. It's an amazing weird creature...but my "it's photoshopped!" buzzer keep going off even though I've been consistently reaffirmed that it's a credible source.

This is pretty outrageous, though a little misleading. I don't know about all of these systems, but I know for a fact San Francisco's BART system is not 1.50 per ride. It's 1.50, plus the distance you are going (calculated in some weird way). I paid 6 bucks to ride the BART from the airport to my hotel, a ride that would have costed 2.25 in Chicago.

Still, Chicago needs to chill on the fare hikes, someone's not spending their money correctly.

I just use cough drops (Halls!), cold drinks, orange juice (or some equally vitamin c acidy juice), and if all else fails, advil, to make it suck less. That's my best advice.
