As always, a great post. I love the post-journalism pieces. You seem very down to earth about writing as a profession. Frankly, if I was making a comfortable living writing instead of computer-nerding, I'm not sure I'd manage to keep as much perspective as you guys do.

How can you not be hot on N'Gai? Everything that guy says -- whether you agree with it or not -- is at the very least well supported and valid from a certain point of view. He (along with Crispin, Shoe, and Jeff Green, and Shawn Elliott) is one of the few people I'd call a game critic rather than a game reviewer.

Not trolling, just wondering why you're not so hot on him.

I loved the "Why so serious?" bit but hated the decision to explain the Joker's origin at all. I was thusly pleased a bit later when he gives a completely different origin story to someone else. I can't think of a single bad decision made in this movie, with the exception of letting Heath Ledger off himself afterwards.

Wait, I'm sorry, I mean "accidentally overdose."

I believe you can replace the battery and save again -- it's not going to make the games any better, though.
