I wonder who made the first move after 5 hours in the saddle. I love watching Contador climb.  He definitely has panache although it did seem pretty out of place in that situation.  I read in the Cycling Weekly write up that Contador had a flat early in the stage and was only paced back by one teammate.  Missed the coverage of the early parts of the stage so didn't get to see this.
