From your post, it seems that even if Droid X was better than the iPhone then you likely wouldn't switch for the convenience factor.
We (wife and I) just got away from Sprint and the Pre for the Droid X and Verizon. It was easy to ditch the Pre but it may be more of a decision the more we get tied to the Android platform.

Thank. I'll hang up and listen.

Re: Why Designers and Developers Should Care About Internet Explorer 9

cool. maybe in 5 years users will switch from IE6 to IE7. Mass switching to 9? Maybe in 10 years.

Re: Google Nexus One: 4 Pros, 4 Cons

even with voice recognition, you shouldn't try to text or e-mail while driving. I'm a bit disappointed that would be mentioned as a possibility.

Re: The Nokia N96: Face the Task

Great. And THIS is the model that Nokia makes available in the U.S.A. http://www.mobileburn.com/n...

Re: We talk with Simon Ainslie, CEO of Nokia UK

I agree that breaking the show up into segments will lose some of the existing show's tempo and personality. Both would be great. You guys do such a great job of filling that 30 or so minutes with pertinent, new, and interesting information that it feels like a 10 minute show. I'm all for having it broken out and posting it on YouTube for extra exposure. I would likely also pass on the segmented clips when I just want a colleague to view one interview or review. Right now, I send the video and tell them to forward to the 14:35 mark, for example, to show them what I wanted.

Re: Manchester Airport launches text feedback

Very nice. I'm anxious to hear the results. The incentive isn't so bad, either.

Re: MIR Show Week 42 featuring the iMovio iKit

liked the iMovio. I wouldn't buy it personally but I wish them well. I would like to see a bigger screen, possibly a touchscreen that uses the entire space. Was it easy to close and open - with one hand?

PowerGorilla should win something for the name alone.

Best weekly show on the Web. Til next week...

Re: Blackberry Storm arrives on Vodafone next month

I'm really excited about the Storm and hope to convince my boss to get me a newer model BlackBerry. Verizon is also going to release the Storm. In the US, 30% of poeple are leaving their carriers to go to AT&T where they can get an iPhone, according to an NPD Group report. Can anyone hear us? The Americans need better phone choices! : )

Re: Mobile Industry Review Show – Week 39

Commenting to be a freeloader and win free stuff! In regards to the iPhone troubles with e-mail and how it is not business critical yet, does the blame fall more with the device itself or the networks that's being used? Looking forward to the next show
