That's interesting - I've used sendle a lot but with the pick up service and it's been fantastic - I haven't had one parcel or pick up missed and most local deliveries seem to be same day. I've used other companies' drop off points and found that service there has really varied depending on the receivers. At one drop off point (for another company) I basically had to talk the receivers through scanning in the items ... if I hadn't done that I think they would have sat there for weeks too ...

I've just started using the caffeine eye serum. My beautician suggested caffeine for dark, puffy eyes and it was one of the cheapest, highest caffeine products out there ... at a bargain price! I look forward to reporting on it!

For interstate readers, the AWL at Hallett Cove shops (South Australia) also has a discounted rack out the front (items usually $1-3). I've got a Sportscraft top from that rack that cost about $2 and gets worn over and over again.

The other great thing, at that price, I'm game enough to gently machine wash some of those 'dry clean only' items! :D

A couple of tips. Firstly - pay for as much as possible before you go - and if you can break it into chunks all the better. For example, pay for your flights & travel insurance. Then next pay, pay for your accommodation, pay after pay for car hire/transport. You often get better deals booking in advance and you'll put less on your credit card.

Then, when you are away, be realistic about your budget. Do some research on your destination. You can't go to London and imagine you're going to spend $AU20 a day (well, unless you're super thrifty!). If you like dining out, see what restaurants cost, check out different areas of a city as they may be cheaper, maybe join some forums to discover what bar prices are like and so on. If you're a shopper - factor that into your budget too.

And obviously, keeping track of what you've spent each day is the best way to manage money - whether home or abroad!

I love the pink 'Jade' shoes, mainly because I love pink! But being slip on it means they're easy to put on or take off as you leave or enter the house.
