Well goddamn. This is awful for the neighborhood. Las Estrellas is one of the only good, affordable food joints left in the 'hood (cheese quesadillas, be still my heart!). And the workers there are always super sweet. Any word on whether they will be relocating, or shutting down altogether?

It's almost 100% residential around there so whatever fills the space needs to have strong appeal for people in the 'hood. A nice burrito or Thai place would do really well.

Great to see this space finally go to good use. It seems excessive the construction will continue through 2018 though. Is there a solid reason for it taking that long?
