Cryptocurrency has so many issues that should have people screaming for it being outlawed, not embraced. It's value can fluctuate by orders of magnitude when (not if) a hack occurs. Each bitcoin mined consumes about as much electricity as 53 days for an average household and the return is nothing other than virtual, as if our power grid isn't under enough strain. There would be no way to mitigate the collapse of the currency if anything went wrong. Money laundering becomes hugely difficult as well. The list goes on and on.

Cryptocurrency is a globalists wet dream. Didn't you ever wonder why something exists that is that wasteful but the liberals are quiet about it?

This is just dumb

Re: BREAKING: Judge in Rittenhouse case just banned MSNBC from courtroom!

Why are you all getting so riled up? It was just some guy who happened to have camera equipment and by coincidence was going the same way as the jury bus. I am sure he happened to have the camera in his hand to check the lens cover was on correctly and didn't notice the red light. And in a panic, he randomly said he was with MSNBC when he was just a freelancer absolutely not doing anything for MSNBC.

Now let me tell you how inflation is good for the economy...

Re: BIG NEWS: New "Freedom Phone" Goes Public Today - Running on FreedomOS It's an Excellent Way for Conservatives to Fight Back Against Big Tech

Looks like your basic Chinese phone with a bunch of fake cameras on it and dual SIM slots. They probably put a custom rom on it and that's it. Yeah, I would feel alot more comfortable putting my own ROM on a known phone instead of this suspect device.
Where are the specs for the phone on the site? It's a basic Shopify site (like most scams) with no info (like most scams) and only a "Buy Now" option (like most scams).
A real "Freedom Phone" should have tons of information about what's in it and even the ROM to download.
Spend a few minutes to look up the company behind it. Its a rabbit hole. I would never buy this or use it. Chances are, if you get anything, it will be a cheap Chinese phone you could get off AliExpress with questionable software

Re: Tesla Cancels Bitcoin

I fully agree that Tesla is a moonbatty company, but in this case, I think they are right and heading off a major PR issue later on.

Mining Bitcoins takes an insane amount of electricity that is basically used for no real purpose other than making artificial value.

Difficult for a EV company to say "we make EVs to save you money, the environment, etc" and then let people pay with something like Bitcoins.

https://www.thebalance.com/...

Re: Kavnaugh Accuser Is Unhinged Liberal Professor Who Former Students Describe as Dark, Mad, Scary and Troubled

Looks like they "Updated" the site and removed several AWFUL reviews. If you machine a piece of steel into a component, there is a tax on it. Every component, ever item you sell has a tax added to it to pay for Obamacare.

Of course, a company will be able to get that back from the government. Assuming that the government gives it all back. Tons of recordkeeping, tons of money your company will have to take care of and hope that it comes back. Let's be honest. If you have to pay a 10% VAT on eveything, you need to increase the price to cover it. You are not going to run a company on what you hope the government will return later.

Now that item is 10% more expensive for the buyer. And they have to pay 10% more too. But they don't get that money back. What would happen to your sales then?

Now, we have a trade imbalance. We import more than we export. So let's add a new tax and added costs to fix it? How does that work? If people are buying "widgets" from China because they are 10% cheaper, why would they want your "widgets" when the price is higher?

As we raised our deficit and taxes, the IRS reports reduced tax revenue... the lowest in a very long time. We need to lower costs, lower taxes, reduce the bleeding that unions cause on manufacturing. When we can produce items cheaper and more efficiently, then we can compete better in the world market, sell more products in the US, and repair Obama's exploding deficit.

Increasing taxes is not the answer.

Has anyone given any thought to just how much this Health Care will cost for each person is covers? There are about 10.6 million people who are not covered by health insurance and actually need government assistance. http://keithhennessey.com/2...

This bill will cost us over $890 billion according to the CBO. (Keep in mind that Medicare cost 800% more than estimated) Anyway, do the math. Its about $90,000 per person covered! I can get personal health care from Aetna for $41 per month. https://www.ehealthinsuranc...

Where does the rest of that money go? To the government. Simple as that.

That's what your VAT will pay for. $90,000 per person for $41 per month in health care.

Re: Power Line - Backing An Insane Horse, Illegally

I have been covering the Honduras situation pretty closely for a while on my site. Everything that they did was completely legal, with one exception. Using the military to exile him was a mistake and against their consititution.

Had they simply arrested him and had him stand trial, it would have been all above board. However, I don't think this detail has anything to do with how Obama is reacting to Honduras

Here is a partial list of the things he did:
*He tried to set up an illegal referendum to the constitution based on a completely illegal "public vote"
*He forged the "official results" of the vote with his goals as the winner BEFORE the vote even took place
*He illegally funneled money pro-Communist organizations
*He was caught on tape stealing millions of dollars from the federal bank

This man is a vulgar little Chavez wanna-be who is completely supported by Chavez. He was removed for many valid reasons.

And, in my mind, that is the reason Obama dislikes it. Obama needs to show the world and his people at home that he will not support a country taking legal action against a president for failing to uphold the Constitution. He has himself broken several laws, such as the time requirement to remove an AG, etc. Acting to support holding a president responsible would make him a hypocrite and weaken his image with his Communist and Socialist friends, like Chavez.

As Obama once said "judge him by the people whom he surrounds himself with". Chavez praises him. Also judge him by the people he turns against.

http://ayfs.wordpress.com

Re: Survey of Labor Economists Shows Overwhelming Opposition to Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), Binding Arbitration

Thanks, Sarah. I have no problem with someone who disagrees with me. I don't think I put opinion in my post and most of the posts on my blog include links to third party proof, but I appreciate someone who can articulate a position.

I think the poll this article is about shows how people feel about unions.

"A Rasmussen Reports survey finds 81 percent of non-union workers do not want union representation. That compares to just 9 percent of workers who say they do want to join a union.

Even among workers whose employers are laying off employees, interest in joining a union is low: Only 9 percent want to be members of a union. But, as usual, ignore the content... ignore the facts... ignore the proofs.

Re: Survey of Labor Economists Shows Overwhelming Opposition to Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), Binding Arbitration

Bla bla bla... Same old rhetoric. Unwilling and unable to discuss the actual issue and points, it becomes an attack.

The economy was growing under Bush. The unemployment rate was low under Bush and did not skyrocket until Obama took over. And no part of the Iraq war was illegal...and it was funded by a Democrat controlled Congress.

Nice try. Obama has over quadrupled the deficit. Unemployment is expected to exceed 10%. The new health bill has a $10 billion payoff for unions in it and includes exemptions to the rules for unions.

Dems are destroying the country and refuse to respond to any actual issue. It becomes...like you, a mindless attack.

Re: Survey of Labor Economists Shows Overwhelming Opposition to Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), Binding Arbitration

Wow. Replace "WORKERS" with "PEOPLE", stick "COMRADE" on the end and that sounds really familiar.

Did you see that one of the oldest restaurants in NYC went out of business after 92 years. The owner said she couldn't compete because she had to spend to pay the unions. She was one of the few unionized restaurants still left in NYC. http://www.212dressingroom.... The place has been around so long that the NY Times reported the closing in its obituary section.

Unions were created when no laws existed to protect workers. The unions were needed and did their job. Laws protect workers rights, safety, and more. The unions are a holdover from the days long gone. Now they are nothing more than a power structure that needs to go away.

I worked at a supermarket as a kid and was told I had to join a union or stop working there. I made minimum wage, had no benefits, but had to pay into a union? I quit.

Or how about the place I worked at that had union people who filed a greivance because someone carried a keyboard from one building to another? The company had to pay the union what is said was required for that job. 8 hours of work for a load carrier and a supervisor.

So, I ask a simple question... Name ONE company that is doing better because of unions. Name one company that can say "paying all this extra money to unions helps us".

Unions kill companies and jobs. Bottom line.

Re: Climate Change Legislation Would Harm Indiana

Things Lena doesn't want to know?

"energy costs would necessarily skyrocket" - President Barack Obama

Testifying before the House Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support in March, Terry M.
