I grew up in Florida where they are regarded as an invasive species. As a kid, loquat season was one of my favorite time of year! I live in nc now and I'd like to buy some every year, fresh preferably, but even dried would be great! Where can I order them?

what exactly constitutes a spoiler? i didn't think i was being specific in any way. what happened to the rules posted up top? wasn't one of them that spoilers are ok; read at your own risk? no seriously, i'm confused. if i talk about what happened in ippo it's not a spoiler b/c it came out a while ago, i guess. but i'm sure there are ppl that aren't caught up yet. how old does sumn have to be before its fair game to talk about it? is this just referring to manga and cartoons, or could it be any show?

Yes, I know some Imizighen. It's interesting to hear that some people don't consider "berber" or "tuareg" to be offensive. Then again, there are people in the u.s. who don't see "nigger" as being offensive either; this doesn't change the fact that the terms came from a place of condescension. Perhaps it rubs me the wrong way particularly because I am Black. To me, they just seem like more examples of demeaning names imposed upon people of African descent by outsiders. And why is it ok for VW to have a car model named "the god forsaken?" Indigenous people here are fighting (largely unsuccessfully, unfortunately) against the same use of racially charged slang as a marketing technique. That these things are occuring in 2012 is just mind-boggling. At any rate, thanks for your input and your journalistic efforts! The comment I made originally was referring to someone that came on just after your piece was aired. I thought your piece was great.

cartoons, anyone? what are ppl's thoughts on the legend of korra? i haven't formulated an opinion yet. meanwhile, idk what the hell is happening with young justice. i feel that the eps are too short for them to be left wholly unresolved each time. adding more characters and further complicating the storyline does not change this

are you talking about as a charcter in general or the film-making potential of the character. i think it's hard to maka good superman movie b/c the focus has to be totally on him, whereas with batman there's a lot of focus on gdgets etc. just the presence of the batmobile itself makes the movie better. superman basically flies, moves fast, and hits stuff, which can be done well on film, but it hasn't. on the whole though i think that the two are actually pretty entertaining together. b/s: public enemies was really good though i disliked the drawing style. i wonder wy there hasn't been a recent film made with the two together

but seriously, where the hell is this damned berserk movie already? i have to confess, i haven't done any in depth searching for it online, but as i see we most likely won't make it to elfheim in 2012, i'll take that as compensation for my wait time.
